耶和華曰、上攻米拉大翁地、及北割居民、殺戮而盡滅之、循我所命而行、

耶和華又曰、違逆之邦、當降以罰、滅之務盡、循我所命。

主曰、當往攻背逆之邦、邦或作邑當罰其居民、殺戮毀滅淨盡、遵我所命爾者而行、

“ Attack the land of Merathaim and those who live in Pekod. Pursue, kill and completely destroy them,” declares the Lord.“ Do everything I have commanded you.

“ Enemies of Babylon, attack their land of Merathaim. Make war against those who live in Pekod. Chase them and kill them. Destroy them completely,” announces the Lord.“ Do everything I have commanded you to do.

“ Go up against the land of Merathaim, and against the inhabitants of Pekod. Kill, and devote them to destruction, declares the Lord, and do all that I have commanded you.

“ Go up, my warriors, against the land of Merathaim and against the people of Pekod. Pursue, kill, and completely destroy them, as I have commanded you,” says the Lord.

Attack the land of Merathaim, and those living in Pekod. Put them to the sword; completely destroy them— this is the LORD’s declaration— do everything I have commanded you.

“ Against the land of Merathaim, go up against it, And against the inhabitants of Pekod. Kill and completely destroy them,” declares the Lord,“ And do according to everything that I have commanded you.

即巴比倫人、迦勒底眾、及比割書亞哥亞諸族、亞述人偕之、皆為方伯州牧、少壯可愛、有名議士、俱乘馬者、

今往擊之、滅其所有、毋加矜恤、男女、童穉、乳子、牛羊駝驢、悉殺戮之、○

有民自北方來攻之、使其地荒蕪、無人居處、人畜皆逃而去、

蓋我必使大邦之眾、來自北方、以攻巴比倫、列陳擊之、於是被陷、敵矢必如精練武士之矢、無徒返者、

耶和華曰、我必命之復返是邑、攻而取之、焚之以火、我亦必使猶大諸邑荒蕪、無人居處、

論古列曰、乃為我牧、成我所悅、論耶路撒冷曰、必得建造、論聖殿曰、其基必立、

又謂亞比篩及諸臣僕曰、我子己身所出、尚索我命、況此便雅憫人乎、姑容之、聽其詛、蓋耶和華命之矣、

環之而呼、彼已投誠、其堞毀壞、其垣傾圮、斯乃耶和華復仇、爾當復仇於彼、依其所行而報之、

我立掃羅為王、今則悔之、以其背我、而不我從、亦不遵行我命、撒母耳怒、終夜籲耶和華、夙興、欲迓掃羅、或告之曰、掃羅至迦密立碑、轉往吉甲、撒母耳就掃羅、掃羅曰、願耶和華錫嘏於爾、耶和華所命、我已行之、撒母耳曰、然則我聞羊鳴牛鳴、是何意耶、掃羅曰、乃眾自亞瑪力攜至、蓋民惜其牛羊之嘉者、欲以祭爾上帝耶和華、其餘我儕盡滅之、撒母耳曰、姑少待、我以耶和華前夕諭我者告爾、曰、請言之、撒母耳曰、昔爾自視雖微、非立為以色列支派之長乎、耶和華膏爾為以色列王、遣爾就途曰、爾往盡滅罪人亞瑪力族、戰而殲之、爾何不聽耶和華言、急於刦奪、行耶和華所惡、掃羅曰、我實聽耶和華言、往所遣我之途、虜亞瑪力王亞甲、盡滅亞瑪力人、惟所獲當滅之牛羊、民取其嘉者、欲在吉甲、以祭爾上帝耶和華、撒母耳曰、耶和華豈喜燔祭及他祭、如喜聽其言乎、夫順服愈於祭祀、聽從愈於羊脂、違逆與卜筮同罪、頑梗與拜偶像事家神同科、爾棄耶和華命、耶和華亦棄爾、不使為王、掃羅曰、我干罪矣、我畏斯民、聽從其言、故違耶和華命、及爾之言、

爾其咸集以聽、諸神之中、孰曾言此、我耶和華所愛者、必成我所悅於巴比倫、其臂加於迦勒底人、

我遣之攻褻慢之邦、令其擊我所恚之民、虜之掠之、且蹂躪之、若街衢之泥塗、

波斯王古列云、天上上帝耶和華、以天下萬國賜我、命我在猶大之耶路撒冷、為之建室、爾中凡為其民者可上、願其上帝耶和華偕之、

作耶和華之工而草率者、可詛也、凡阻其刃不經血者、亦可詛也、

今我上攻此地而滅之、豈無耶和華之旨乎、耶和華乃命我曰、上攻此地而滅之、

摩西見自陳而歸之軍長、千夫長、百夫長、怒之曰、爾生存眾婦乎、彼從巴蘭之謀、使以色列族因奉毘珥、干罪於耶和華、致疫行於耶和華之會、當殺幼穉中諸男、並殺與男同寢諸婦、惟未與男同寢之幼女、爾可為己存其生命、
