是以叢林之獅必殺之、曠野之狼必噬之、豹必伺於邑外、凡出邑者、悉為所裂、蓋其罪戾孔多、悖逆增甚、

彼逆主屢矣、故必死於林中之獅、斃於夤夜之狼、豹守其邑、伏視眈眈、凡出邑者、必被斷傷。

故林中之獅必殺之、夤夜之狼必噬之、豹伏其邑外、凡自邑出者、必被噬斃、皆因其罪愆極多、違逆特甚、

Therefore a lion from the forest will attack them, a wolf from the desert will ravage them, a leopard will lie in wait near their towns to tear to pieces any who venture out, for their rebellion is great and their backslidings many.

So a lion from the forest will attack them. A wolf from the desert will destroy them. A leopard will hide and wait near their towns. It will tear to pieces anyone who dares to go out. Again and again they have refused to obey the Lord. They have turned away from him many times.

Therefore a lion from the forest shall strike them down; a wolf from the desert shall devastate them. A leopard is watching their cities; everyone who goes out of them shall be torn in pieces, because their transgressions are many, their apostasies are great.

So now a lion from the forest will attack them; a wolf from the desert will pounce on them. A leopard will lurk near their towns, tearing apart any who dare to venture out. For their rebellion is great, and their sins are many.

Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, a wolf of the evenings shall destroy them, a leopard shall watch against their cities; every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces; because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.

So like a lion from the thicket their enemies will kill them. Like a wolf from the desert they will destroy them. Like a leopard they will lie in wait outside their cities and totally destroy anyone who ventures out. For they have rebelled so much and done so many unfaithful things.

Therefore a lion out of the forest will kill them. A wolf of the evenings will destroy them. A leopard will watch against their cities. Everyone who goes out there will be torn in pieces, because their transgressions are many and their backsliding has increased.

這事臨到你身上，不是你自招的嗎？不是因耶和華－你神引你行路的時候，你離棄他嗎？

誰是智慧人，可以明白這事？耶和華的口向誰說過，使他可以傳說？遍地為何滅亡，乾焦好像曠野，甚至無人經過呢？耶和華說：「因為這百姓離棄我在他們面前所設立的律法，沒有遵行，也沒有聽從我的話；只隨從自己頑梗的心行事，照他們列祖所教訓的隨從眾巴力。」

誰知，你們起來接續先祖，增添罪人的數目，使耶和華向以色列大發烈怒。

少壯獅子向他咆哮，大聲吼叫，使他的地荒涼；城邑也都焚燒，無人居住。

我所看見的獸，形狀像豹，腳像熊的腳，口像獅子的口。那龍將自己的能力、座位，和大權柄都給了牠。

「你將這一切的話指示這百姓。他們問你說：『耶和華為甚麼說，要降這大災禍攻擊我們呢？我們有甚麼罪孽呢？我們向耶和華－我們的神犯了甚麼罪呢？』你就對他們說：『耶和華說：因為你們列祖離棄我，隨從別神，事奉敬拜，不遵守我的律法，而且你們行惡比你們列祖更甚；因為各人隨從自己頑梗的惡心行事，甚至不聽從我，

仇敵必像獅子從約旦河邊的叢林上來，攻擊堅固的居所。轉眼之間，我要使以東人逃跑，離開這地。誰蒙揀選，我就派誰治理這地。誰能比我呢？誰能給我定規日期呢？有何牧人能在我面前站立得住呢？

你所親愛的都忘記你，不來探問你。我因你的罪孽甚大，罪惡眾多，曾用仇敵加的傷害傷害你，用殘忍者的懲治懲治你。

我必向以法蓮如獅子，向猶大家如少壯獅子。我必撕裂而去，我要奪去，無人搭救。

雖有這三人在其中，主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他們連兒帶女都不能得救，只能自己得救，那地仍然荒涼。或者我使刀劍臨到那地，說：刀劍哪，要經過那地，以致我將人與牲畜從其中剪除；雖有這三人在其中，主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他們連兒帶女都不能得救，只能自己得救。或者我叫瘟疫流行那地，使我滅命的忿怒傾在其上，好將人與牲畜從其中剪除；雖有挪亞、但以理、約伯在其中，主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他們連兒帶女都不能救，只能因他們的義救自己的性命。」主耶和華如此說：「我將這四樣大災－就是刀劍、饑荒、惡獸、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，將人與牲畜從其中剪除，豈不更重嗎？

獅子的洞和少壯獅子餵養之處在哪裏呢？公獅母獅小獅遊行、無人驚嚇之地在哪裏呢？公獅為小獅撕碎許多食物，為母獅掐死活物，把撕碎的、掐死的充滿牠的洞穴。

耶和華啊，我們的罪孽雖然作見證告我們，還求你為你名的緣故行事。我們本是多次背道，得罪了你。

頭一個像獅子，有鷹的翅膀；我正觀看的時候，獸的翅膀被拔去，獸從地上得立起來，用兩腳站立，像人一樣，又得了人心。

你在一切市口上建造高臺，使你的美貌變為可憎的，又與一切過路的多行淫亂。

他離了隱密處像獅子一樣，他們的地，因刀劍凶猛的欺壓，又因他猛烈的怒氣都成為可驚駭的。」
