我說：“這些人只是貧窮小民，為人愚昧；他們不曉得耶和華的道路，也不明白他們神的法則。

我说：这些人实在是贫穷的，是愚昧的，因为不晓得耶和华的作为和他们神的法则。

我说：“这些人实在是贫寒的，他们是愚昧的，因为不知道耶和华的作为，也不知道他们上帝的法则。

我说：“这些人实在是贫寒的，他们是愚昧的，因为不知道耶和华的作为，也不知道他们神的法则。

我想：“他们贫穷、愚昧，不明白他们上帝耶和华的道，也不知道祂的法令。

我说：“这些人只是贫穷小民，为人愚昧；他们不晓得耶和华的道路，也不明白他们神的法则。

我說：這些人實在是貧窮的，是愚昧的，因為不曉得耶和華的作為和他們神的法則。

我想：「他們貧窮、愚昧，不明白他們上帝耶和華的道，也不知道祂的法令。

我說：『這些人只是貧窮愚昧；因為他們不曉得永恆主所行的路，不明白他們的上帝的法則。

我曰、此乃貧乏者、愚昧者、不識耶和華之道、不明其上帝之法、

我自謂、彼貧乏者流、懵然愚昧、不識厥上帝耶和華之道。

我自謂彼貧貧或作賤者流、彼愚昧因不識主之道、不明其天主之法、

I thought,“ These are only the poor; they are foolish, for they do not know the way of the Lord, the requirements of their God.

I thought,“ The people of Jerusalem are foolish. They don’t know how the Lord wants them to live. They don’t know what their God requires of them.

Then I said,“ These are only the poor; they have no sense; for they do not know the way of the Lord, the justice of their God.

Then I said,“ But what can we expect from the poor? They are ignorant. They don’t know the ways of the Lord. They don’t understand God’s laws.

Then I thought: They are just the poor; they have been foolish. For they don’t understand the way of the LORD, the justice of their God.

Then I said,“ They are only the poor, They are foolish; For they do not know the way of the Lord Or the judgment of their God.

Therefore I said,“ Surely these are poor. They are foolish; For they do not know the way of the Lord, The judgment of their God.

Then I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish; for they know not the way of Jehovah, nor the law of their God:

Then I thought: They are just the poor; they have played the fool. For they don’t understand the way of the Lord, the justice of their God.

Therefore I said, Surely these[ are] poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD,[ nor] the judgment of their God.

I thought,“ Surely it is only the ignorant poor who act this way. They act like fools because they do not know what the LORD demands. They do not know what their God requires of them.

Then I said,“ Surely these are poor. They are foolish; for they don’t know the Yahweh’s way, nor the law of their God.

我的子民因無知識而滅亡；因為你拒絕了知識，我必拒絕你，不讓你作我的祭司；因為你忘掉了你神的律法，我也必忘記你的子孫。

連空中的鸛鳥也知道自己來去的季候；斑鳩、燕子和白鶴也謹守遷移的時令；我的子民卻不曉得耶和華的法則。

他們說：“他要把知識教導誰呢？要使誰明白他所傳的信息呢？是那些剛斷奶，剛離開母懷的嗎？因為他所說的，只是些重複又重複的話，和毫無意義的字母，這裡一點，那裡一點罷了。”耶和華要藉著外族人的嘴唇和外族人的舌頭，對這人民說話。他曾對他們說：“這就是安息之處，你們若使疲乏的人得安息，就必得著這安歇的地方。”但他們不肯聽從。所以耶和華對他們所說的話，就成了重複又重複的話，和毫無意義的字母，這裡一點，那裡一點，以致他們雖然往前走，卻必仰面跌倒，並且跌傷，陷入網羅被纏住。

就是瞎的可以看見，瘸的可以走路，患痲風的得到潔淨，聾的可以聽見，死人復活，窮人有福音聽。

枝條枯乾了，就必被折斷；婦女必來，拿去生火，因為這人民愚昧無知，所以他們的創造主不憐憫他們，那造成他們的，不向他們施恩。

“我的子民愚妄，他們連我都不認識，是無知的兒女，沒有悟性；他們有智慧行惡，卻沒有知識行善。”

官長或法利賽人中間有誰是信他的呢？至於這群不明白律法的人，他們是可咒詛的。”

“可是，你們竟然倚靠虛謊無益的話。
