LORD, I know you look for faithfulness. But even when you punish these people, they feel no remorse. Even when you nearly destroy them, they refuse to be corrected. They have become as hardheaded as a rock. They refuse to change their ways.

我責爾子、乃徒然也、彼不受教、爾刃如猛獅、吞噬爾先知、

蓋耶和華之目遍及天下、凡專心向之者、必顯其力以助之、爾所行者愚也、今而後爾必有戰事、

宜語之曰、斯乃不聽其上帝耶和華之言、不受訓誨之國、真實亡矣、絕於其口、○

我曾曰、爾惟寅畏我、受我訓誨、爾之第宅、則不依我所定被毀、但爾黎明而起、自敗厥行、

斯民仍未轉向擊之者、不尋求萬軍之耶和華、

惟以色列家、顙堅心頑、必不聽爾、以其不聽我也、我堅爾面、抵彼之面、我堅爾顙、抵彼之顙、我使爾顙如石、堅於火石、彼雖悖逆之家、勿畏之、勿懼其貌、

禍哉、背逆污穢暴虐之邑也、彼不聽命令、不受教誨、不恃耶和華、不親其上帝、

耶和華居於聖殿、耶和華之位在天、其目下察世人兮、耶和華試鍊義人、惟彼兇惡強暴、乃其心所惡兮、將布羅網於惡人烈火硫磺炎颷、盈其杯兮、蓋耶和華乃義、且好義行、正人必見其面兮、

惟彼不從、而轉其肩、塞耳不聽、鐵石其心、不聽法律、與萬軍之耶和華以其神藉古先知所傳之言、緣此、萬軍之耶和華大發其怒、

抑輕褻其宏大之慈惠寬容恆忍、不知上帝之慈惠導爾改悔乎、乃任爾剛愎、罔有悛心、積怒厥躬、以至上帝震怒、顯其義鞫之日、

惡者厚其顏、正人定其行、

惟爾不從、不傾耳以聽、乃強厥項、作惡甚於列祖、

我素知爾剛愎、爾項乃鐵、爾額乃銅、

愚人與穀、以杵倂搗於臼、亦不能去其愚、○

萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、我必降所言之災於是邑、及其屬邑、蓋彼強項、不聽我言也、

亞哈斯王困苦之際、愈干犯耶和華、

曷仍為逆、致復受撻、首盡病、心盡疲、自頂至踵、體無完膚、惟創與瘀、及新傷痕、未合未裹、未潤以油、

且我生身之父懲我、我尚敬之、況諸神之父、不更宜服之以得生乎、

夫人行此、我知上帝必依真理鞫之、

乃曰、擊我而我無傷、扑我而我不覺、何時而醒、仍復索飲、

爾污而淫、我欲潔爾、爾不受潔、故爾污不得滌除、迨我怒息、

故彼傾其烈怒、俾遇劇戰、火灼四周、而彼不知、焚及其身、不以為意、

耶和華祐智者、敗譎者之言、

經綸維大、作為有能、爾目洞察世人之道、按其所由之途、所結之果、而加報施、

中懷誠實、為爾所悅、必使我衷通達智慧兮、
