LORD, I know you look for faithfulness. But even when you punish these people, they feel no remorse. Even when you nearly destroy them, they refuse to be corrected. They have become as hardheaded as a rock. They refuse to change their ways.

O Yahweh, don’t your eyes look on truth? You have stricken them, but they were not grieved. You have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than a rock. They have refused to return.

我責打你們的兒女是徒然的，他們不受懲治。你們自己的刀吞滅你們的先知，好像殘害的獅子。

耶和華的眼目遍察全地，要顯大能幫助向他心存誠實的人。你這事行得愚昧；此後，你必有爭戰的事。」

你要對他們說：這就是不聽從耶和華－他們神的話、不受教訓的國民；從他們的口中，誠實滅絕了。」

我說：你只要敬畏我，領受訓誨；如此，你的住處不致照我所擬定的除滅。只是你們從早起來就在一切事上敗壞自己。

這百姓還沒有歸向擊打他們的主，也沒有尋求萬軍之耶和華。

以色列家卻不肯聽從你，因為他們不肯聽從我；原來以色列全家是額堅心硬的人。看哪，我使你的臉硬過他們的臉，使你的額硬過他們的額。我使你的額像金鋼鑽，比火石更硬。他們雖是悖逆之家，你不要怕他們，也不要因他們的臉色驚惶。」

這悖逆、污穢、欺壓的城有禍了！她不聽從命令，不領受訓誨，不倚靠耶和華，不親近她的神。

耶和華在他的聖殿裏；耶和華的寶座在天上；他的慧眼察看世人。耶和華試驗義人；惟有惡人和喜愛強暴的人，他心裏恨惡。他要向惡人密布網羅；有烈火、硫磺、熱風，作他們杯中的分。因為耶和華是公義的，他喜愛公義；正直人必得見他的面。

他們卻不肯聽從，扭轉肩頭，塞耳不聽，使心硬如金鋼石，不聽律法和萬軍之耶和華用靈藉從前的先知所說的話。故此，萬軍之耶和華大發烈怒。

還是你藐視他豐富的恩慈、寬容、忍耐，不曉得他的恩慈是領你悔改呢？你竟任着你剛硬不悔改的心，為自己積蓄忿怒，以致神震怒，顯他公義審判的日子來到。

惡人臉無羞恥；正直人行事堅定。

你們卻不聽從，不側耳而聽，竟硬着頸項行惡，比你們列祖更甚。

因為我素來知道你是頑梗的－你的頸項是鐵的；你的額是銅的。

你雖用杵將愚妄人與打碎的麥子一同搗在臼中，他的愚妄還是離不了他。

「萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：我必使我所說的一切災禍臨到這城和屬城的一切城邑，因為他們硬着頸項不聽我的話。」

這亞哈斯王在急難的時候，越發得罪耶和華。

你們為甚麼屢次悖逆，還要受責打嗎？你們已經滿頭疼痛，全心發昏。從腳掌到頭頂，沒有一處完全的，盡是傷口、青腫，與新打的傷痕，都沒有收口，沒有纏裹，也沒有用膏滋潤。

再者，我們曾有生身的父管教我們，我們尚且敬重他，何況萬靈的父，我們豈不更當順服他得生嗎？

我們知道這樣行的人，神必照真理審判他。

你必說：人打我，我卻未受傷；人鞭打我，我竟不覺得。我幾時清醒，我仍去尋酒。

在你污穢中有淫行，我潔淨你，你卻不潔淨。你的污穢再不能潔淨，直等我向你發的忿怒止息。

所以，他將猛烈的怒氣和爭戰的勇力傾倒在以色列的身上。在他四圍如火着起，他還不知道，燒着他，他也不介意。

耶和華的眼目眷顧聰明人，卻傾敗奸詐人的言語。

謀事有大略，行事有大能，注目觀看世人一切的舉動，為要照各人所行的和他做事的結果報應他。

你所喜愛的是內裏誠實；你在我隱密處，必使我得智慧。
