LORD, I know you look for faithfulness. But even when you punish these people, they feel no remorse. Even when you nearly destroy them, they refuse to be corrected. They have become as hardheaded as a rock. They refuse to change their ways.

O Yahweh, don’t your eyes look on truth? You have stricken them, but they were not grieved. You have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than a rock. They have refused to return.

我责打你们的儿女是徒然的，他们不受惩治。你们自己的刀吞灭你们的先知，好像残害的狮子。

耶和华的眼目遍察全地，要显大能帮助向他心存诚实的人。你这事行得愚昧；此后，你必有争战的事。”

我说：你只要敬畏我，领受训诲；如此，你的住处不致照我所拟定的除灭。只是你们从早起来，就在一切事上败坏自己。”

这百姓还没有归向击打他们的主，也没有寻求万军之耶和华。

以色列家却不肯听从你，因为他们不肯听从我；原来以色列全家是额坚心硬的人。看哪，我使你的脸硬过他们的脸，使你的额硬过他们的额。我使你的额像金钢钻，比火石更硬。他们虽是悖逆之家，你不要怕他们，也不要因他们的脸色惊惶。”

这悖逆、污秽、欺压的城有祸了！她不听从命令，不领受训诲，不倚靠耶和华，不亲近她的神。

耶和华在他的圣殿里；耶和华的宝座在天上；他的慧眼察看世人。耶和华试验义人；惟有恶人和喜爱强暴的人，他心里恨恶。他要向恶人密布网罗；有烈火、硫磺、热风，作他们杯中的份。因为耶和华是公义的，他喜爱公义；正直人必得见他的面。

他们却不肯听从，扭转肩头，塞耳不听，使心硬如金钢石，不听律法和万军之耶和华用灵藉从前的先知所说的话。故此，万军之耶和华大发烈怒。

还是你藐视他丰富的恩慈、宽容、忍耐，不晓得他的恩慈是领你悔改呢？你竟任着你刚硬不悔改的心，为自己积蓄忿怒，以致神震怒，显他公义审判的日子来到。

恶人脸无羞耻；正直人行事坚定。

你们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟硬着颈项行恶，比你们列祖更甚。

因为我素来知道你是顽梗的，你的颈项是铁的；你的额是铜的。

你虽用杵将愚妄人与打碎的麦子一同捣在臼中，他的愚妄还是离不了他。

“万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：我必使我所说的一切灾祸临到这城和属城的一切城邑，因为他们硬着颈项不听我的话。”

这亚哈斯王在急难的时候，越发得罪耶和华。

你们为什么屡次悖逆，还要受责打吗？你们已经满头疼痛，全心发昏。从脚掌到头顶，没有一处完全的，尽是伤口、青肿，与新打的伤痕，都没有收口，没有缠裹，也没有用膏滋润。

再者，我们曾有生身的父管教我们，我们尚且敬重他，何况万灵的父，我们岂不更当顺服他得生吗？

我们知道这样行的人，神必照真理审判他。

你必说：“人打我，我却未受伤；人鞭打我，我竟不觉得。我几时清醒，我仍去寻酒。”

在你污秽中有淫行，我洁净你，你却不洁净。你的污秽再不能洁净，直等我向你发的忿怒止息。

所以，他将猛烈的怒气和争战的勇力倾倒在以色列的身上。在他四围如火着起，他还不知道，烧着他，他也不介意。

耶和华的眼目眷顾聪明人，却倾败奸诈人的言语。

谋事有大略，行事有大能，注目观看世人一切的举动，为要照各人所行的和他做事的结果报应他。

你所喜爱的是内里诚实；你在我隐密处，必使我得智慧。
