寡婦、孤兒、寄居的和貧窮人，你們都不可欺壓，也不可各自心裡圖謀惡事，陷害自己的兄弟。’

你的官長存心悖逆，與盜賊同夥；人都貪愛賄賂，追索私酬；他們不替孤兒伸冤，寡婦的案件也呈不到他們面前。

但耶書崙肥胖了，就踢跳，‘你肥胖了，你粗壯了，你飽滿了，’他離棄了造他的神，輕看了救他的磐石。

看這些惡人，他們常享安逸，財富卻增加。

如果你們不欺壓寄居的，不欺壓孤兒寡婦，不在這地方流無辜人的血，也不跟從別的神，自招禍患；

撒瑪利亞山上的巴珊母牛啊！要聽這話；你們欺負貧窮人，壓迫窮苦人，又對自己的丈夫說：“拿酒來，給我們飲用。”

耶和華啊！我跟你爭辯的時候，總是你有理；然而我還要跟你討論有關公正的問題。惡人的道路為甚麼亨通？所有行詭詐的為甚麼都得享安逸？

強盜的帳幕興旺，惹神發怒的安穩，神的手賞賜他們。

看哪，工人為你們收割莊稼，你們竟然剋扣他們的工資；那工資必為他們呼冤；收割者的呼聲，已經達到萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在世上窮奢極侈，養肥了自己，竟不知屠宰的日子到了。

你不但行她們所行的，作她們所作的可憎之事，而且你還以那些事為小，你一切所行的比她們更壞。我指著我的永生起誓，你的妹妹所多瑪和她的女兒們，都沒有行過像你和你女兒們所行的事。這是主耶和華的宣告。你妹妹所多瑪的罪孽是這樣：她和她的女兒們都驕傲自大，糧食豐足，生活安逸，卻沒有幫助困苦和貧窮的人。她們自高自傲，在我面前行了可憎的事；我看見了，就把她們除掉。撒瑪利亞所犯的罪還不及你所犯的一半；你所行的可憎之事比她更多，以致你的姊妹因你所行的一切可憎之事而顯為義。你既然使你的姊妹較顯為義，你就要承擔自己的恥辱；因為你所犯的罪比她們所犯的更可憎，她們比你更顯為義。你使你的姊妹較顯為義，所以你就要慚愧，承擔自己的恥辱了。

“你們不按公義審判，偏袒惡人，要到幾時呢？（細拉）你們要為貧寒的人和孤兒伸冤，為困苦和窮乏的人伸張正義。要搭救貧寒和窮困的人，救他們脫離惡人的手。”

聽說你們中間竟然有淫亂的事，這樣的淫亂在教外人中間都沒有，就是有人和他的繼母同居。

他們的心麻木如同脂油，我卻喜歡你的律法。

有人到死的時候仍然氣力充足，享盡平靜與安逸；他的奶桶充滿鮮奶，他的骨髓滋潤。

你多麼通曉門路，去尋求愛情！就連壞女人，你也可以把門路指教她們。

因為他以自己的脂肪蒙臉，腰上積滿肥油。他住在被毀的城邑裡，住在沒有人居住，注定快要成為亂堆的房屋裡。

因為我救了呼救的窮人，和無人幫助的孤兒。將要滅亡的，為我祝福；我使寡婦的心歡呼。我以公義作衣服穿上；我的公平好像外袍和冠冕。

難道你是用香柏木爭勝來表明王的身分嗎？你父親不是也吃也喝，也施行公正和公義嗎？那時他得享福樂。他為困苦和貧窮人伸冤，那時他得享福樂。這不是認識我的真義嗎？”這是耶和華的宣告。“但你的眼你的心甚麼都不顧，只顧你的不義之財，只知流無辜人的血，施行欺壓和迫害的事。”因此，論到猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬，耶和華這樣說：“人必不為他哀傷，說：‘哀哉，我哥哥！’‘哀哉，我姊姊！’人必不為他哀傷，說：‘哀哉，主上！’‘哀哉，尊榮的王！’他像驢子一樣被埋葬，被拖走，拋在耶路撒冷城門外。”

所以，驕傲像鍊子戴在他們的頸項上，強暴好像衣裳穿在他們的身上。他們的罪孽是出於麻木的心（按照《馬索拉文本》，“他們的罪孽是出於麻木的心”應作“他們的眼睛因體胖而凸出”；現參照《七十士譯本》翻譯），他們心裡的惡念氾濫。

但她違背我的典章，行惡勝過列國；觸犯我的律例，比環繞著她的萬邦更壞。她棄絕我的典章，不遵行我的律例。”主耶和華這樣說：“你們比你們四圍的列國更叛逆，不遵行我的律例，不遵守我的典章，連你們四圍列國的法規你們也不遵守（有些抄本沒有“也不”）。”

他必為民間的困苦人伸冤，拯救貧窮人，粉碎那欺壓人的。
