Do you not fear Me? This is the Lord’s declaration. Do you not tremble before Me, the One who set the sand as the boundary of the sea, an enduring barrier that it cannot cross? The waves surge, but they cannot prevail. They roar but cannot pass over it.

耶和华说：你们怎么不惧怕我呢？我以永远的定例，用沙为海的界限，水不得越过。因此，你们在我面前还不战兢吗？波浪虽然翻腾，却不能逾越；虽然砰訇，却不能过去。

你们难道不惧怕我吗？在我面前还不战兢吗？这是耶和华说的。我以沙为海的界限，作永远的条例，使它不得越过。波浪汹涌，却不能胜过；怒涛澎湃，仍无法越过。

‘你们连我都不惧怕吗？在我面前你们也不战兢吗？’这是耶和华的宣告。‘我以沙作海的疆界，作永远的界限，海就不能越过；波浪翻腾，却不能漫过；怒涛澎湃，仍无法逾越。

永恆主發神諭說：連我、你們也不懼怕麼？在我面前、你們還不戰戰兢兢？我用沙做海的界限，永遠的定限，使它不能越犯；其水雖翻騰，卻不能得勝，其波浪雖匉訇，卻不能越過。

耶和華曰、我立永命、以沙界海、不得踰防、雖波濤洶湧而不越、漰渤而不踰、爾不畏我、不戰慄於我前乎、

耶和華云、我立命不易、以沙界海、洪濤澎湃、不得越其防、爾豈不寅畏、戰慄於我前。

主曰、爾豈可不畏我、不戰慄於我前、我定沙為海界、水不得越、波浪奔騰、不能漲溢、洪濤洶湧、不能踰越、

Should you not fear me?” declares the Lord.“ Should you not tremble in my presence? I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross. The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it.

Shouldn’t you have respect for me?’ announces the Lord.‘ Shouldn’t you tremble with fear in front of me? I made the sand to hold the ocean back. It will do that forever. The ocean can’t go past it. The waves might roll, but they can’t sweep over it. They might roar, but they can’t go across it.

Do you not fear me? declares the Lord. Do you not tremble before me? I placed the sand as the boundary for the sea, a perpetual barrier that it cannot pass; though the waves toss, they cannot prevail; though they roar, they cannot pass over it.

Have you no respect for me? Why don’t you tremble in my presence? I, the Lord, define the ocean’s sandy shoreline as an everlasting boundary that the waters cannot cross. The waves may toss and roar, but they can never pass the boundaries I set.

Fear ye not me? saith Jehovah: will ye not tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it? and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it.

“ You should fear me!” says the LORD.“ You should tremble in awe before me! I made the sand to be a boundary for the sea, a permanent barrier that it can never cross. Its waves may roll, but they can never prevail. They may roar, but they can never cross beyond that boundary.”

Don’t you fear me?’ says Yahweh‘ Won’t you tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it can’t pass it? Though its waves toss themselves, yet they can’t prevail. Though they roar, they still can’t pass over it.’

I tremble in awe of You; I fear Your judgments.

“ If you are not careful to obey all the words of this law, which are written in this scroll, by fearing this glorious and awesome name— Yahweh, your God—

Who should not fear You, King of the nations? It is what You deserve. For among all the wise people of the nations and among all their kingdoms, there is no one like You.

You set a boundary they cannot cross; they will never cover the earth again.

when I determined its boundaries and put its bars and doors in place,when I declared:“ You may come this far, but no farther; your proud waves stop here”?

when He set a limit for the sea so that the waters would not violate His command, when He laid out the foundations of the earth.

He laid out the horizon on the surface of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness.

Lord, who will not fear and glorify Your name? Because You alone are holy, for all the nations will come and worship before You because Your righteous acts have been revealed.

He got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea,“ Silence! Be still!” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

He builds His upper chambers in the heavens and lays the foundation of His vault on the earth. He summons the waters of the sea and pours them out on the face of the earth. Yahweh is His name.

The Lord reigns! Let the peoples tremble. He is enthroned above the cherubim. Let the earth quake.

He rebukes the sea so that it dries up, and He makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither; even the flower of Lebanon withers.

He gathers the waters of the sea into a heap; He puts the depths into storehouses.

Don’t fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul; rather, fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

But I will show you the One to fear: Fear Him who has authority to throw people into hell after death. Yes, I say to you, this is the One to fear!

The floods have lifted up, Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their pounding waves.Greater than the roar of many waters— the mighty breakers of the sea— the Lord on high is majestic.

I issue a decree that in all my royal dominion, people must tremble in fear before the God of Daniel: For He is the living God, and He endures forever; His kingdom will never be destroyed, and His dominion has no end.

You who tremble at His word, hear the word of the Lord:“ Your brothers who hate and exclude you because of Me have said,‘ Let the Lord be glorified so that we can see your joy!’ But they will be put to shame.”

Why was no one there when I came? Why was there no one to answer when I called? Is My hand too short to redeem? Or do I have no power to deliver? Look, I dry up the sea by My rebuke; I turn the rivers into a wilderness; their fish rot because of lack of water and die of thirst.
