『愚昧而無心思的人民哪，有眼不能看、有耳不能聽的啊，你們要聽這話。

“愚昧无知的百姓啊，你们有眼不看，有耳不听，现在当听这话。

‘听着，你们这群愚昧无知的人啊，你们视而不见，听而不闻。

“愚昧无知的民哪！你们有眼不能看，有耳不能听；你们应当听这话：

「愚昧無知的百姓啊，你們有眼不看，有耳不聽，現在當聽這話。

『聽著，你們這群愚昧無知的人啊，你們視而不見，聽而不聞。

“愚昧無知的民哪！你們有眼不能看，有耳不能聽；你們應當聽這話：

愚昧無知之民歟、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、爾其聽此、

曰不智之徒、無慧者流、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言。

爾此愚昧無知之民、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言、

Hear this, you foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear:

‘ Listen to this, you foolish people, who do not have any sense. You have eyes, but you do not see. You have ears, but you do not hear.

“ Hear this, O foolish and senseless people, who have eyes, but see not, who have ears, but hear not.

Listen, you foolish and senseless people, with eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear.

Hear this, you foolish and senseless people. They have eyes, but they don’t see. They have ears, but they don’t hear.

‘ Hear this now, O foolish people, Without understanding, Who have eyes and see not, And who have ears and hear not:

『人子啊，你住在叛逆之家中間；他們有眼睛可以看，卻不看，有耳朵可以聽，卻不聽，因為他們是叛逆之家。

他說：「你去告訴這人民說：你們要聽了又聽，卻決不領悟；要看了又看，卻決不看見；

他說：你去對這人民說：『你們聽了又聽吧！但總不明白！你們看了又看吧！但總不曉得！你去使這人民心蒙脂油，耳朵發沉，將他們的眼塗抹掉，免得他們用眼看見，用耳聽見，心裏明白，而回轉過來，而得醫治！』

『主把他們的眼弄瞎了。使他們的心頑梗不化，省得他們用眼看見，用心了悟，回轉過來，而我醫治他們！』（

正如經上所記的：『上帝給了他們麻木的靈，不能看的眼，不能聽的耳，直到今天這日子。』

連空中的鸛鳥也知道牠來去的定期；斑鳩燕子與白鶴也守候當來的時令；我的人民卻不知道永恆主的法則。

『因為我的人民愚妄，連我、他們也不認識；愚頑的兒女啊、他們！無知啊、他們！他們有智巧去作壞事，要怎樣行善、卻不曉得。』

我用比喻對他們說話，是因為他們看卻看不見，聽卻聽不見，也不領悟。以賽亞所傳講的神言、正應驗在他們身上了；他說：「你們要聽了又聽，卻決不領悟；要看了又看，卻決看不見。因為這人民的心給脂油蒙住了；他們以沉重的耳來聽，又把眼閉着；恐怕他們用眼看見，用耳聽見，用心領悟，回轉過來，讓我醫治他們！」

我說：『這些人只是貧窮愚昧；因為他們不曉得永恆主所行的路，不明白他們的上帝的法則。

你們有眼看不見麼？有耳聽不見麼？也不記得麼？

他們不知道，也不明白，因為他們的眼被塗抹了，以致不能看見，他們的心蒙蔽了，以致不能了解。

民間的畜類人哪，你們要明白；愚頑人哪，你們到幾時才能通達呢？

愚昧無知的人民哪，你們這樣報答永恆主麼？他豈不是你的父、那製作你的麼？是他造你、建立了你。

但是到今日永恆主還沒有給你們能明白的心、能看見的眼、能聽見的耳。

愚頑人既全無心思，其手裏哪有價銀可買智慧呢？

其枝條枯乾，必被折斷；婦女必來，拿去生火。因為這人民是無知的人民；所以造他們的、不憐憫他們，形成他們的、不恩待他們。

拜偶像的人一概是畜類、是愚頑，是虛無神所指教的：那神不過是木頭，

以法蓮好像鴿子愚蠢無心思：呼求埃及，投奔亞述。
