“愚昧无知的民哪！你们有眼不能看，有耳不能听；你们应当听这话：

“愚昧无知的百姓啊，你们有眼不看，有耳不听，现在当听这话。

‘听着，你们这群愚昧无知的人啊，你们视而不见，听而不闻。

「愚昧無知的百姓啊，你們有眼不看，有耳不聽，現在當聽這話。

「愚昧無知的百姓啊，你們有眼不看，有耳不聽，現在當聽這話。

『聽著，你們這群愚昧無知的人啊，你們視而不見，聽而不聞。

“愚昧無知的民哪！你們有眼不能看，有耳不能聽；你們應當聽這話：

『愚昧而無心思的人民哪，有眼不能看、有耳不能聽的啊，你們要聽這話。

愚昧無知之民歟、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、爾其聽此、

曰不智之徒、無慧者流、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言。

爾此愚昧無知之民、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言、

Hear this, you foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear:

‘ Listen to this, you foolish people, who do not have any sense. You have eyes, but you do not see. You have ears, but you do not hear.

“ Hear this, O foolish and senseless people, who have eyes, but see not, who have ears, but hear not.

Listen, you foolish and senseless people, with eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear.

Hear this, you foolish and senseless people. They have eyes, but they don’t see. They have ears, but they don’t hear.

‘ Now hear this, you foolish and senseless people, Who have eyes but do not see, Who have ears but do not hear.

‘ Hear this now, O foolish people, Without understanding, Who have eyes and see not, And who have ears and hear not:

“人子啊！你是住在叛逆的民族之中；他们有眼睛可以看，却看不见；他们有耳朵可以听，却听不见，因为他们是叛逆的民族。

他说：‘你去告诉这人民：你们听是听见了，总是不明白；看是看见了，总是不领悟。

他说：“你去告诉这子民，说：‘你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却不晓得。’你要使这子民的心思迟钝（“迟钝”直译是“蒙脂油”），耳朵不灵，眼睛昏暗，免得他们眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回转过来，得到医治。”

“神使他们瞎了眼，硬了心，免得他们眼睛看见，心里明白而回转过来；我就医好他们。”

正如经上所记：“神给了他们麻木的灵，有眼睛却看不见，有耳朵却听不到，直到今日。”

连空中的鹳鸟也知道自己来去的季候；斑鸠、燕子和白鹤也谨守迁移的时令；我的子民却不晓得耶和华的法则。

“我的子民愚妄，他们连我都不认识，是无知的儿女，没有悟性；他们有智慧行恶，却没有知识行善。”

因此，我用比喻对他们讲话，因为他们看却看不见，听也听不到，也不明白。以赛亚的预言，正应验在他们身上，他说：‘你们听是听见了，总是不明白；看是看见了，总是不领悟。因为这人民的心思迟钝，用不灵的耳朵去听，又闭上了眼睛；免得自己眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回转过来，我就医好他们。’

我说：“这些人只是贫穷小民，为人愚昧；他们不晓得耶和华的道路，也不明白他们神的法则。

你们有眼不能看，有耳不能听吗？你们不记得吗？

他们并不知道，也不明白；因为耶和华闭住他们的眼睛，使他们不能看见，塞住他们的心，使他们不能明白。

民间的愚昧人哪！你们要留心；愚顽人哪！你们要到几时才能明白呢？

愚昧无知的人民哪，你们这样报答耶和华吗？他不是你的父，不是把你买回来的吗？他造了你，建立了你。

但是直到今日，耶和华还没有给你们一颗能明白的心，能看见的眼睛，能听见的耳朵。

愚昧人既是无知，为什么手里拿着价银要买智慧呢？

枝条枯干了，就必被折断；妇女必来，拿去生火，因为这人民愚昧无知，所以他们的创造主不怜悯他们，那造成他们的，不向他们施恩。

他们全是顽梗愚昧，他们所领受的教导是来自那些虚无、木做的偶像。

以法莲好像一只愚蠢无知的鸽子。他们向埃及求助，投奔亚述。
