以色列家啊，看哪，我必使一國從遠方來攻擊你，是強盛的國，是古老的國；他們的言語你不知道，所說的話你不明白。這是耶和華說的。

耶和华说：“以色列家啊，我必使一国的民从远方来攻击你，是强盛的国，是从古而有的国。他们的言语你不晓得，他们的话你不明白。

以色列家啊，看哪，我必使一国从远方来攻击你，是强盛的国，是古老的国；他们的言语你不知道，所说的话你不明白。这是耶和华说的。

People of Israel,” declares the Lord,“ I am bringing a distant nation against you— an ancient and enduring nation, a people whose language you do not know, whose speech you do not understand.

“ People of Israel, listen to me,” announces the Lord.“ I am bringing against you a nation from far away. It is an old nation. And it will last for a long time. Its people speak a language you do not know. You can’t understand what they are saying.

Behold, I am bringing against you a nation from afar, O house of Israel, declares the Lord. It is an enduring nation; it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you do not know, nor can you understand what they say.

Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it[ is] a mighty nation, it[ is] an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.

The LORD says,“ Listen, nation of Israel! I am about to bring a nation from far away to attack you. It will be a nation that was founded long ago and has lasted for a long time. It will be a nation whose language you will not know. Its people will speak words that you will not be able to understand.

Behold, I will bring a nation on you from far away, house of Israel,” says Yahweh.“ It is a mighty nation. It is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you don’t know and don’t understand what they say.

耶和華要從遠方、地極之處帶一國來，如鷹飛來攻擊你；這國的語言，你聽不懂。

你們當傳給列國，看哪，要向耶路撒冷報告：「有圍攻的人從遠方來到，向猶大的城鎮大聲喊叫。

耶和華要藉嘲弄的嘴唇和外邦人的舌頭，向這百姓說話。

他必豎立大旗，召集遠方的國民，把他們從地極叫來。看哪，他們必急速奔來，

看哪，我要召北方列國的萬族。這是耶和華說的。他們要來，各安寶座在耶路撒冷的城門口，周圍攻擊城牆，又要攻擊猶大的一切城鎮。

你必不再看見那兇暴的民，他們嘴唇說艱澀的言語，難以理解；舌頭結巴，說無意義的話。

看哪，我必召北方的眾族和我僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒前來攻擊這地和這地的居民，並四圍所有的國民。我要將他們盡行滅絕，以致他們令人驚駭、嗤笑，並且永久荒涼。這是耶和華說的。

你，王啊，你是諸王之王。天上的神已將國度、權勢、能力、尊榮都賜給你。世人和走獸，並天空的飛鳥，不論居住何處，他都交在你的手中，令你掌管這一切。你就是那金的頭。

就是埃及、猶大、以東、亞捫人、摩押人，和住曠野所有剃鬢髮的人；因為列國都未受割禮，以色列全家心中也未受割禮。」

「賊被捉拿，怎樣羞愧，以色列家和他們的君王、官長、祭司、先知也都照樣羞愧。

你們要向列國觀看，注意看，要驚奇，再驚奇！因為在你們的日子，有一件事發生，儘管有人說了，你們還是不信。看哪，我必興起迦勒底人，就是那殘忍暴躁之民，通行遍地，霸佔不屬自己的住處。他威武可畏，審判與威權都由他而出。他的馬比豹更快，比晚上的野狼更猛。他的戰馬跳躍，他的戰馬從遠方而來；他們飛跑，如鷹急速抓食，都為施行殘暴而來，他們的臉面向東，聚集俘虜，多如塵沙。他譏誚列王，嘲諷領袖，嗤笑一切堡壘，堆土攻取它。

萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家；他所喜愛的樹就是猶大人。他指望公平，看哪，卻有流血；指望公義，看哪，卻有冤聲。

以色列家和猶大家向我大行詭詐。這是耶和華說的。

萬軍之耶和華必使雷轟、地震、巨響、旋風、暴風，並吞滅的火焰臨到它。

律法上記着：「主說：我要用外邦人的舌頭和外邦人的嘴唇向這百姓說話；雖然如此，他們還是不聽從我。」

其後，我在夜間的異象中觀看，看哪，第四獸可怕可懼，極其強壯，有大鐵牙，吞吃嚼碎，剩下的用腳踐踏。這獸與前面所有的獸不同，牠有十隻角。

耶和華如此說：「看哪，有一民族從北方而來；有一大國被激起，從地極來到。

我必四圍安營攻擊你，築臺圍困你，堆壘攻擊你。

你們要把所犯的一切罪過盡行拋棄，為自己造一個新的心和新的靈。以色列家啊，你們為甚麼要死呢？

不要自己心裏說：『我們有亞伯拉罕為祖宗。』我告訴你們，神能從這些石頭中給亞伯拉罕興起子孫來。現在斧子已經放在樹根上，凡不結好果子的樹就砍下來，丟在火裏。
