主曰、以色列族歟、我使一族、來自遠方攻爾、為強族、乃古族、爾不識其言、不明其所語、

耶和华说：“以色列家啊，我必使一国的民从远方来攻击你，是强盛的国，是从古而有的国。他们的言语你不晓得，他们的话你不明白。

People of Israel,” declares the Lord,“ I am bringing a distant nation against you— an ancient and enduring nation, a people whose language you do not know, whose speech you do not understand.

主必使遠民、如鷹之飛、來自地極攻擊爾、斯民之言、爾所不識、

當傳示列邦、宣告耶路撒冷曰、圍困城者、來自遠方、大聲諠譁、以攻猶大城邑、

是故主必藉口癡之人、以異邦方言斥責斯民、

必樹旗召遠方之族、呼之自地極而來、彼必疾行、迅速而至、

我必召北方列國之諸族咸至、各立其座於耶路撒冷邑門、環攻耶路撒冷之城垣、及猶大諸邑、此乃主所言、

敵人為強暴之民、其言惟異、爾所不識、彼為鴃舌之人、其言故不解、爾今不復見之、

我必使我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、奉我遣率北方各族、來攻斯地與其居民、及四周之鄰國、必滅之殆盡、使其地永為荒涼、令人驚駭恥笑、此乃主所言、

王為諸王之王、天上之天主、賜王以國、以權、以能、以榮、居各地之人民、野獸、飛鳥、主使咸歸王掌握、主使咸歸王掌握或作主皆付於王手使王統轄一切、金首即王也、

即罰伊及、猶大、以東、亞捫族、摩押、與凡薙髮之四周、居於曠野者、蓋此諸國之民、皆未受割禮、以色列族心中不潔、如未受割禮、

賊盜被執則慚愧、以色列族、及其君王、侯伯、祭司、先知、慚愧亦若是、

主曰、爾曹當觀於異邦中、必甚駭異、當爾之時、我將行一事、雖有人告爾、爾亦不信、我將使迦勒底人興起、斯族殘忍暴躁、徧行天下、天下原文作寛闊之地強據非己之邑、可畏可懼、下令決事、惟隨己意、下令決事惟隨己意或作其權衡威勢由己而出其馬疾於豹、迅於夜出之狼、或作彼之馬較豹尤疾彼眾為人較夜出之狼更暴騎卒驕泰踴躍、來自遠方、迅速若鷹、疾飛攫食、迅速若鷹疾飛攫食或作迅速而行如鷹疾飛攫食彼眾咸來、以行強暴、長驅大進、勢若東風、擄掠人民、多若塵沙、藐視君王、姍笑侯伯、譏嘲一切鞏固之城、築壘攻取、

萬有之主之葡萄園、即以色列族、所悅之嘉樹、即猶大人、冀其公義、反暴虐、冀其行善、反令人含冤、

主曰、以色列族及猶大族負我特甚、

萬有之主、將以霹靂、地震、迅雷、狂風、暴風、烈火之燄、懲罰敵人、

經載云、主曰、我雖以異言異辭語斯民、彼仍不聽我、

此後我於夜間異象中、又見一獸、即第四獸、可恐可懼、極其剛強、有大鐵齒、吞噬嚼碎一切、所餘者、踐之以足、與先諸獸、迥不相同、首有十角、

主如是云、有一族自北方而來、大邦之民、勃然而興、自地極而至、

我將四圍立營以圍爾、築壘以困爾、建樓以攻爾、

以色列族歟、棄所犯之罪愆、新爾心神、何為自取死亡、

毋心中自矜曰、亞伯拉罕吾祖也、吾語爾、天主能使此石為亞伯拉罕之子孫焉、今斧已置樹根、凡樹不結善果者、即斫之投火、
