以色列家啊！我必使一國從遠方來攻擊你們。”這是耶和華的宣告。“那國歷久不衰，從古就有；他們的言語你們不懂得，他們所說的你們不明白。

耶和华说：“以色列家啊，我必使一国的民从远方来攻击你，是强盛的国，是从古而有的国。他们的言语你不晓得，他们的话你不明白。

以色列家啊，看哪，我必使一国从远方来攻击你，是强盛的国，是古老的国；他们的言语你不知道，所说的话你不明白。这是耶和华说的。

永恆主發神諭說：以色列家啊，看吧，我必使一國的人從遠方來攻擊你：是個持久不敗的國，是個從古就有的國：這一個國、它的語言你不曉得；他們說甚麼、你不曉得聽。

耶和華曰、以色列家歟、遠方有國、既強且古、爾曹不識其方言、不明其所語、我必導之攻爾、

耶和華告以色列族曰、遠方有國、歷年已久、其民強悍、其方言爾不識。其所語爾不明、我必使之攻爾。

主曰、以色列族歟、我使一族、來自遠方攻爾、為強族、乃古族、爾不識其言、不明其所語、

People of Israel,” declares the Lord,“ I am bringing a distant nation against you— an ancient and enduring nation, a people whose language you do not know, whose speech you do not understand.

“ People of Israel, listen to me,” announces the Lord.“ I am bringing against you a nation from far away. It is an old nation. And it will last for a long time. Its people speak a language you do not know. You can’t understand what they are saying.

Behold, I am bringing against you a nation from afar, O house of Israel, declares the Lord. It is an enduring nation; it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you do not know, nor can you understand what they say.

Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it[ is] a mighty nation, it[ is] an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.

The LORD says,“ Listen, nation of Israel! I am about to bring a nation from far away to attack you. It will be a nation that was founded long ago and has lasted for a long time. It will be a nation whose language you will not know. Its people will speak words that you will not be able to understand.

Behold, I will bring a nation on you from far away, house of Israel,” says Yahweh.“ It is a mighty nation. It is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you don’t know and don’t understand what they say.

“耶和華必從遠方，從地極把一國的民帶來，像鷹一般飛來攻擊你；這民的語言你不會聽；

“要向列國提說，向耶路撒冷宣揚：‘圍攻的人從遠地而來，向猶大的各城鎮大聲吶喊。

耶和華要藉著外族人的嘴唇和外族人的舌頭，對這人民說話。

他必豎立旗幟，招一國的人從遠方而來，發出哨聲把他們從地極召來；看！他們必急速快奔而來。

看哪！我要呼召北方列國的眾族，他們要來，各人在耶路撒冷的城門口，設立自己的座位，攻擊耶路撒冷周圍的城牆，又攻擊猶大各城鎮。”這是耶和華的宣告。

你必不再見那強暴的民了，就是那說話深奧，難以明白，舌頭結巴，難以聽懂的民。

看哪！我要打發人去徵召北方的眾族，和我的僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，領他們來攻擊這地和這地的居民，以及周圍的列國；我要把他們徹底消滅，使他們成為令人驚駭，受人嗤笑的對象，和永遠荒廢的地方。”這是耶和華的宣告。

王啊！你是萬王之王，天上的神已經把國度、權柄、能力和尊榮都賜給你；也把散居在各處的世人、田野的走獸和空中的飛鳥，都交在你手裡，使你管理這一切。你就是那金頭。

就是埃及、猶大、以東、亞捫、摩押和所有剃除鬢髮，住在曠野的人；因為列國的人都沒有受過割禮，甚至以色列全家的內心也沒有受過割禮。”

“賊被捉拿時怎樣羞愧，以色列家和他們的君王、領袖、祭司和先知，也都怎樣羞愧。

你們當看列國，要定睛觀看，就會大大驚奇，因為在你們的日子，我要作一件事，即使有人說了出來，你們也不會相信。就是要興起迦勒底人，那殘忍兇暴的民；他們遍行全地，佔領別人的家園。他們恐怖可怕，自以為義，趾高氣揚。他們的馬比豹更快，比晚上的豺狼更猛。他們的騎兵奔馳，自遠而來；他們如鷹飛翔，迅速吞噬。他們定著臉面向前，齊來行暴，擄獲戰俘多如塵沙。他們戲弄君王，以掌權的為笑柄；他們嗤笑一切城堡，築壘攻取；

因為萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家，他喜悅的樹就是猶大人；他期望的是公平，但看到的只是流血的事；他期望的是公義，聽到的只是哀叫聲。

以色列家和猶大家，待我實在太奸詐了。”這是耶和華的宣告。

萬軍之耶和華必用雷轟、地震、大聲、旋風、暴風和吞滅人的火燄來懲罰他們。

律法上記著說：“主說：我要藉著說別種話的人，用外國人的嘴唇，對這人民說話；雖然這樣，他們還是不聽我。”

後來，我在夜間的異象中繼續觀看，看見有第四隻獸，非常恐怖，十分可怕，極其強壯。牠有大鐵牙；牠吞吃咬碎，又把剩餘的用腳踐踏；這獸和前面的各獸都不相同；牠有十個角。

耶和華這樣說：“看哪！有一個民族從北方之地而來，有一大國被激動從地極來到。

我必四面安營攻擊你，築起攻城的臺來圍困你，堆起高壘攻擊你。

你們要把你們所犯的一切罪過棄掉，為自己造一個新的心和新的靈。以色列家啊，你們為甚麼要滅亡呢？

你們心裡不要以為：‘我們有亞伯拉罕作我們的祖宗。’我告訴你們，神能從這些石頭中給亞伯拉罕興起後裔來。現在斧頭已經放在樹根上，所有不結好果子的樹，就砍下來，丟在火裡。
