神言人必成了風；主的話並不在他們裏面；他們所遭受的、必是這樣。」』

先知的话必成为风；道也不在他们里面。这灾必临到他们身上。

先知不过是一阵风，道也不在他们里面；这灾祸必临到他们身上。”

先知的话不过是一阵风，不是来自上帝，他们预言的灾祸必降临到自己身上。’”

先知不过是一阵风，主的道也不在他们里面；他们所说的必临到他们身上。”

先知的話必成為風；道也不在他們裏面。這災必臨到他們身上。

先知不過是一陣風，道也不在他們裏面；這災禍必臨到他們身上。」

先知為風、道不在於其中、彼之所言、必及己身、

先知有言、災必及民、民謂其言虛誕若風、未嘗奉命於上。

先知所言、非由神感、必顯為空虛若風、彼所遭遇者若此、

The prophets are but wind and the word is not in them; so let what they say be done to them.”

The prophets are nothing but wind. Their message doesn’t come from the Lord. So let what they say will happen be done to them.”

The prophets will become wind; the word is not in them. Thus shall it be done to them!’”

God’s prophets are all windbags who don’t really speak for him. Let their predictions of disaster fall on themselves!’”

The prophets become only wind, for the LORD’s word is not in them. This will in fact happen to them.

And the prophets become wind, For the word is not in them. Thus shall it be done to them.”

因此永恆主這麼說：論到那些冒我名來傳講的神言人，我沒有差遣他們，而他們還說「這地必不會遭遇刀劍和饑荒」的，那些神言人自己倒要被刀劍和饑荒滅絕呢。

『這些話你要說到幾時？而你口中說的話又如狂風呢？

我就說：『唉，主永恆主啊，你看，那些神言人常對他們說：「你們必不會見刀劍，必不會遭遇饑荒；我永恆主卻要在這地方賜給你們可靠的平安。」』

他們就說：『來吧，我們來設計謀害耶利米；因為祭司有禮節規矩，智慧人有謀略，神言人有話語，都不能斷絕掉。來吧，我們用口舌攻擊他，他的甚麼話、我們都別理它。』

你們想要「駁正」人的言論麼？但絕望人說的話正是給風吹的呢。

因為我每逢講論時，總得哀呼；我喊叫說：『有強暴哦！要毁滅啦！』因為永恆主的話對於我已成了終日不斷的辱罵和譏刺了。我若說：『我不再去想起他，我不再奉他的名講論，』我心裏就像有火燒着，閉塞在我骨中；我含忍得不耐煩了，簡直不能自禁。我聽見了許多人的讒誹；四圍盡是恐怖！『告發他！我們要告發他！』我的一切盟友，那些等着瞧我顛沛的說：『或者他被誘騙，我們就能勝過他，而在他身上得報復。』然而永恆主與我同在，他是大能大力者、威武可畏者；因此逼迫我的都必絆跌，不能得勝。他們必極其慚愧，蒙受永不能忘的羞慚，因為他們行事不聰明。

兩年以內、我必將巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒從這地掠到巴比倫去的器皿，就是永恆主殿中的一切器皿、都帶回這地來。

察罰的日子來了，報應的日子到了，以色列必知道的。神言人愚忘，靈感動的人瘋狂，都因你罪孽之大，仇恨之深。
