先知為風、道不在於其中、彼之所言、必及己身、

The prophets are but wind and the word is not in them; so let what they say be done to them.”

The prophets are nothing but wind. Their message doesn’t come from the Lord. So let what they say will happen be done to them.”

爾為此言、迄於何時、爾口之詞、有若狂風、伊於胡底、

我則曰、噫、主耶和華歟、諸先知語民曰、爾必不罹鋒刃、不遭饑饉、耶和華必於斯土、錫爾久安、

彼曰、其來、爾我同謀以攻耶利米、因法律不絕於祭司、謀畧不絕於哲人、預言不絕於先知、來哉、我儕以舌攻之、勿聽其言、○

爾欲譴言詞乎、不知絕望之人、其論如風、

我每言時、則發聲呼曰、強暴毀滅、緣耶和華之言、終日受恥辱、被譏誚、我若云不復道之、不再藉其名而言、則我中心有如爇火、蘊於我骨、疲倦難忍、我聞眾謗、隨在驚惶、我之密友望我顚越、咸曰訟之、予亦訟之、或彼受誘、予則勝之、以復予仇、惟耶和華偕我、如可畏之勇士、窘迫我者必顚越、而不獲勝、蒙極大之羞、受永久不忘之辱、以其行事不智也、

二年期屆、耶和華室之器、即巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、自此遷至巴比倫者、我必返之、

懲罰之日既至、報施之日已來、以色列必知之、先知愚妄、感於靈者顚狂、因爾多罪、怨恨特甚、
