爾其往來於耶路撒冷之衢、於其寬廣之區察視之、索一行公義求信實者、若有之、我必宥斯邑、

在耶路撒冷逵衢、宜急遍行稽察、若得一人行義言真、則其餘亦必加寛宥。

爾曹遍行耶路撒冷逵衢而細觀、於其街市訪覓、試觀有一人行公義、求誠實否、若有、則我必宥斯邑、

“ Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, look around and consider, search through her squares. If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city.

The Lord says,“ Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem. Look around. Think about what you see. Search through the market. See if you can find one honest person who tries to be truthful. If you can, I will forgive this city.

Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, look and take note! Search her squares to see if you can find a man, one who does justice and seeks truth, that I may pardon her.

“ Run up and down every street in Jerusalem,” says the Lord.“ Look high and low; search throughout the city! If you can find even one just and honest person, I will not destroy the city.

Roam through the streets of Jerusalem. Investigate; search in her squares. If you find one person, any who acts justly, who pursues faithfulness, then I will forgive her.

“ Roam about through the streets of Jerusalem, And look and take notice. And seek in her public squares, If you can find a person, If there is one who does justice, who seeks honesty, Then I will forgive her.

“ Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem; See now and know; And seek in her open places If you can find a man, If there is anyone who executes judgment, Who seeks the truth, And I will pardon her.

Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that doeth justly, that seeketh truth; and I will pardon her.

Roam through the streets of Jerusalem. Look and take note; search in her squares. If you find one person, any who acts justly, who seeks to be faithful, then I will forgive her.

Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be[ any] that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.

The LORD said,“ Go up and down through the streets of Jerusalem. Look around and see for yourselves. Search through its public squares. See if any of you can find a single person who deals honestly and tries to be truthful. If you can, then I will not punish this city.

“ Run back and forth through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in its wide places, if you can find a man, if there is anyone who does justly, who seeks truth, then I will pardon her.

因為耶和華的眼目遍察全地，要堅固向他存純正之心的人。你在這事上行得愚昧；因此，以後你必有戰爭。」

亞伯拉罕近前來，說：「你真的要把義人和惡人一同剿滅嗎？假若那城裏有五十個義人，你真的還要剿滅，不因城裏這五十個義人饒了那地方嗎？你絕不會做這樣的事，把義人與惡人一同殺了，使義人與惡人一樣。你絕不會這樣！審判全地的主豈不做公平的事嗎？」耶和華說：「我若在所多瑪城裏找到五十個義人，我就為他們的緣故饒恕那整個地方。」亞伯拉罕回答說：「看哪，我雖只是塵土灰燼，還敢向主說話。假若這五十個義人少了五個，你就因為少了五個而毀滅全城嗎？」他說：「我在那裏若找到四十五個，就不毀滅。」亞伯拉罕又對他說：「假若在那裏找到四十個呢？」他說：「為這四十個的緣故，我也不做。」亞伯拉罕說：「求主不要生氣，容我說，假若在那裏找到三十個呢？」他說：「我在那裏若找到三十個，我也不做。」亞伯拉罕說：「看哪，我還敢向主說，假若在那裏找到二十個呢？」他說：「為這二十個的緣故，我也不毀滅。」亞伯拉罕說：「求主不要生氣，我再說一次，假若在那裏找到十個呢？」他說：「為這十個的緣故，我也不毀滅。」

神從天上垂看世人，要看有明白的沒有，有尋求神的沒有。他們全都退後，一同變為污穢，沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。作惡的都沒有知識嗎？他們吞吃我的百姓如同吃飯一樣，並不求告神。

我有禍了！我好像夏日收割後的果子，又如收成之後剩餘的葡萄，沒有一掛可吃的，也沒有我心所渴想初熟的無花果。地上的虔誠人滅盡了，人世間已無正直的人；他們都埋伏，為要流人的血，用羅網獵取自己的弟兄。

但以理啊，你要隱藏這話，封閉這書，直到末時。必有許多人往來奔跑，知識就必增長。」

他們都偏離正路，一同變為污穢，沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。

公平轉而退後，公義站在遠處，誠實仆倒在廣場上，正直不得進入；誠實少見，離棄邪惡的人反成掠物。那時，耶和華見沒有公平，就不喜悅。

無人按公義控訴，也無人憑誠實辯白；卻倚靠虛妄，口說謊言，懷毒害，生罪孽。

耶和華啊，求你幫助，因虔誠人斷絕了，世人中間忠信的人消失了。

對他說：「你跑去告訴這個年輕人說，耶路撒冷必有人居住，如同無城牆的鄉村，因為其中的人和牲畜很多。

「我要起來，繞行城中，在街市上，在廣場上，尋找我心所愛的。」我尋找他，卻尋不着。

他說：「我為耶和華－萬軍之神大發熱心，因為以色列人背棄了你的約，毀壞了你的壇，用刀殺了你的先知，只剩下我一人，他們還要追殺我。」

在城門旁，城門口，入口處，她呼喊：

並且在那沉淪的人身上行各樣不義的詭詐，因為他們不領受愛真理的心，好讓他們得救。

那僕人回來，把這些事都告訴了主人。這家的主人就發怒，對僕人說：『快出去，到城裏大街小巷，領那貧窮的、殘疾的、失明的、瘸腿的來。』

牠們蹦上城，跳上牆，爬上房屋，從窗戶進來，如同盜賊。

尋找她，如尋找銀子，搜尋她，如搜尋寶藏，你就懂得敬畏耶和華，得以認識神。因為耶和華賞賜智慧，知識和聰明都由他口而出。

他們必飄流，從這海到那海，從北邊到東邊，往來奔跑，尋求耶和華的話，卻尋不着。

很多人聲稱自己忠信，但誠信的人誰能遇着呢？

你當獲得真理，不可出賣，智慧、訓誨和聰明也是一樣。
