爾曹遍行耶路撒冷逵衢而細觀、於其街市訪覓、試觀有一人行公義、求誠實否、若有、則我必宥斯邑、

“ Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, look around and consider, search through her squares. If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city.

The Lord says,“ Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem. Look around. Think about what you see. Search through the market. See if you can find one honest person who tries to be truthful. If you can, I will forgive this city.

Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, look and take note! Search her squares to see if you can find a man, one who does justice and seeks truth, that I may pardon her.

“ Run up and down every street in Jerusalem,” says the Lord.“ Look high and low; search throughout the city! If you can find even one just and honest person, I will not destroy the city.

Roam through the streets of Jerusalem. Investigate; search in her squares. If you find one person, any who acts justly, who pursues faithfulness, then I will forgive her.

“ Roam about through the streets of Jerusalem, And look and take notice. And seek in her public squares, If you can find a person, If there is one who does justice, who seeks honesty, Then I will forgive her.

“ Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem; See now and know; And seek in her open places If you can find a man, If there is anyone who executes judgment, Who seeks the truth, And I will pardon her.

Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that doeth justly, that seeketh truth; and I will pardon her.

Roam through the streets of Jerusalem. Look and take note; search in her squares. If you find one person, any who acts justly, who seeks to be faithful, then I will forgive her.

永恆主的眼目在全地上看來看去；凡以純全之心向他的人、他就顯大權能去幫助他。在這一點上你幹了糊塗事了！從今以後、你總有戰事了。』

我在他們中間要找一個人來修造藩籬，在我面前為這國站在破口之處，使我不毁滅這國，卻找不着一個。

亞伯拉罕走近前去，說：『你真地要將義人同惡人一齊掃滅麼？萬一城中有五十個義人呢，你還真地要掃滅，也不為了其中五十個義人的緣故而饒了那地方麼？將義人同惡人一齊殺死，你這樣作麼！絕對不然！讓義人像惡人一樣麼！絕對不然！審判全地的主、難道不行公義麼？』永恆主說：『我若在所多瑪城中見有五十個義人，我就要因他們的緣故而饒了那全地方。』亞伯拉罕回答說：『我雖是塵土爐灰，還敢對主說話。萬一五十個義人缺了五個呢，你還要因為缺了五個就毁滅全城麼？』他說：『我若在那裏見有四十五個，我也不毁滅那城。』亞伯拉罕又對他說：『萬一在那裏只見有四十個呢？』他說：『因這四十個的緣故，我也不這樣作。』亞伯拉罕說：『求主不要發怒，容我再說一句：『假使在那裏只見有三十個呢？』他說：『我若在那裏見有三十個，我也不這樣作。』亞伯拉罕說：『我還敢對主說一句：假使在那裏只見有二十個呢？』他說：『因這二十個的緣故，我也不毁滅。』亞伯拉罕說：『求主不要發怒，容我再說一句：就只這一次：萬一在那裏只見有十個呢？』他說：『因這十個的緣故，我也不毁滅。』

上帝從天上垂看着人類，要看有明智的沒有，有尋求上帝的沒有。他們都退後，一概被染污；沒有人行善，連一個也沒有。作孽的、吞喫我民的人、難道沒有知識麼？他們只知喫飯，並不呼求上帝的名。

有禍啊我！我好像夏天的果子已被收盡，好像割取了葡萄剩下的零碎，沒有一掛可喫的，也沒有我心所羨慕的早熟無花果。堅貞之士都從國中滅絕了，人類中都沒有正直的了；人人都埋伏着要流人的血；各人都用網羅獵取弟兄。

但你呢、但以理啊，你要把這些話封閉着，把這卷書密封着、到末了時期。而大眾們卻要跑來跑去追求、使知識增長。』

他們都偏離正路，一概被染污；沒有人行善，連一個也沒有。

公平轉而退後，義氣正義站在遠處；因為「真實」在街上跌倒着，「端正」不得進入。「真實」已不存在；離開壞事的人反而成為被掠物。永恆主看見了；他見沒有公平，很不喜悅。

沒有人按公義告狀，沒有人憑誠實辯訴；都倚靠着虛空，說虛謊的話；所孕懷的是毒害，所生的是奸惡。

永恆主啊，求你拯救，因為堅貞之愛斷絕了，人類間的忠信都不見了。

對他說：『你跑去告訴那邊那青年人，說：『耶路撒冷準會有人居住，像無城牆的鄉村一樣，因為其中有人和牲口很多。

『我要起來，在城中繞圈兒，在街上在廣場上尋找我心所愛的。』我尋找他，卻找不着。

以利亞說：『我為永恆主萬軍之上帝大發妒愛熱情，因為以色列人撇棄了你的約，翻毁了你的祭壇，用刀殺死你的神言人，只剩下我一個人，他們還想法子要我的命。』

在城門旁呼叫着，在城門洞的出入口呼喊着，說：

那僕人上來，把這些事報告他的主人。於是家主就發怒，對僕人說：「趕快出去到城裏頭大街小巷裏，帶那些討飯的、殘廢的、眼瞎的、瘸腿的、進這裏來。」

牠們蹦撞着城，竄上了牆，爬進房屋，像盜賊由窗戶進去。

尋求它如尋求銀礦，搜尋它如搜尋寶藏，那麼你就明白敬畏永恆主的道理，找到認識上帝的門路。因為永恆主賜予智慧；知識和明達都由他口中而出；

人必流離飄蕩、從這海到那海，從北邊到東邊，跑來跑去、尋求永恆主的話，卻尋不着。

人多宣稱自己的忠愛；但忠信人誰能遇得着呢？

要購買真理；不可出賣真理；要購買智慧、管教、和明達。
