爾其往來於耶路撒冷之衢、於其寬廣之區察視之、索一行公義求信實者、若有之、我必宥斯邑、

在耶路撒冷逵衢、宜急遍行稽察、若得一人行義言真、則其餘亦必加寛宥。

爾曹遍行耶路撒冷逵衢而細觀、於其街市訪覓、試觀有一人行公義、求誠實否、若有、則我必宥斯邑、

“ Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, look around and consider, search through her squares. If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city.

The Lord says,“ Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem. Look around. Think about what you see. Search through the market. See if you can find one honest person who tries to be truthful. If you can, I will forgive this city.

Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, look and take note! Search her squares to see if you can find a man, one who does justice and seeks truth, that I may pardon her.

“ Run up and down every street in Jerusalem,” says the Lord.“ Look high and low; search throughout the city! If you can find even one just and honest person, I will not destroy the city.

Roam through the streets of Jerusalem. Investigate; search in her squares. If you find one person, any who acts justly, who pursues faithfulness, then I will forgive her.

“ Roam about through the streets of Jerusalem, And look and take notice. And seek in her public squares, If you can find a person, If there is one who does justice, who seeks honesty, Then I will forgive her.

“ Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem; See now and know; And seek in her open places If you can find a man, If there is anyone who executes judgment, Who seeks the truth, And I will pardon her.

Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that doeth justly, that seeketh truth; and I will pardon her.

Roam through the streets of Jerusalem. Look and take note; search in her squares. If you find one person, any who acts justly, who seeks to be faithful, then I will forgive her.

The LORD said,“ Go up and down through the streets of Jerusalem. Look around and see for yourselves. Search through its public squares. See if any of you can find a single person who deals honestly and tries to be truthful. If you can, then I will not punish this city.

“ Run back and forth through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in its wide places, if you can find a man, if there is anyone who does justly, who seeks truth, then I will pardon her.

耶和華的眼目遍察全地，要顯大能幫助向他心存誠實的人。你這事行得愚昧；此後，你必有爭戰的事。」

我在他們中間尋找一人重修牆垣，在我面前為這國站在破口防堵，使我不滅絕這國，卻找不着一個。

亞伯拉罕近前來，說：「無論善惡，你都要剿滅嗎？假若那城裏有五十個義人，你還剿滅那地方嗎？不為城裏這五十個義人饒恕其中的人嗎？將義人與惡人同殺，將義人與惡人一樣看待，這斷不是你所行的。審判全地的主豈不行公義嗎？」耶和華說：「我若在所多瑪城裏見有五十個義人，我就為他們的緣故饒恕那地方的眾人。」亞伯拉罕說：「我雖然是灰塵，還敢對主說話。假若這五十個義人短了五個，你就因為短了五個毀滅全城嗎？」他說：「我在那裏若見有四十五個，也不毀滅那城。」亞伯拉罕又對他說：「假若在那裏見有四十個怎麼樣呢？」他說：「為這四十個的緣故，我也不做這事。」亞伯拉罕說：「求主不要動怒，容我說，假若在那裏見有三十個怎麼樣呢？」他說：「我在那裏若見有三十個，我也不做這事。」亞伯拉罕說：「我還敢對主說話，假若在那裏見有二十個怎麼樣呢？」他說：「為這二十個的緣故，我也不毀滅那城。」亞伯拉罕說：「求主不要動怒，我再說這一次，假若在那裏見有十個呢？」他說：「為這十個的緣故，我也不毀滅那城。」

神從天上垂看世人，要看有明白的沒有？有尋求他的沒有？他們各人都退後，一同變為污穢；並沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。作孽的沒有知識嗎？他們吞吃我的百姓如同吃飯一樣，並不求告神。

哀哉！我好像夏天的果子已被收盡，又像摘了葡萄所剩下的，沒有一掛可吃的；我心羨慕初熟的無花果。地上虔誠人滅盡；世間沒有正直人；各人埋伏，要殺人流血，都用網羅獵取弟兄。

但以理啊，你要隱藏這話，封閉這書，直到末時。必有多人來往奔跑，知識就必增長。」

他們都偏離正路，一同變為污穢；並沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。

並且公平轉而退後，公義站在遠處；誠實在街上仆倒，正直也不得進入。誠實少見；離惡的人反成掠物。那時，耶和華看見沒有公平，甚不喜悅。

無一人按公義告狀，無一人憑誠實辯白；都倚靠虛妄，說謊言。所懷的是毒害；所生的是罪孽。

耶和華啊，求你幫助，因虔誠人斷絕了；世人中間的忠信人沒有了。

對他說：「你跑去告訴那少年人說，耶路撒冷必有人居住，好像無城牆的鄉村，因為人民和牲畜甚多。

我說：我要起來，遊行城中，在街市上，在寬闊處，尋找我心所愛的。我尋找他，卻尋不見。

他說：「我為耶和華－萬軍之神大發熱心；因為以色列人背棄了你的約，毀壞了你的壇，用刀殺了你的先知，只剩下我一個人，他們還要尋索我的命。」

在城門旁，在城門口，在城門洞，大聲說：

並且在那沉淪的人身上行各樣出於不義的詭詐；因他們不領受愛真理的心，使他們得救。

那僕人回來，把這事都告訴了主人。家主就動怒，對僕人說：『快出去，到城裏大街小巷，領那貧窮的、殘廢的、瞎眼的、瘸腿的來。』

牠們蹦上城，躥上牆，爬上房屋，進入窗戶如同盜賊。

尋找它，如尋找銀子，搜求它，如搜求隱藏的珍寶，你就明白敬畏耶和華，得以認識神。因為，耶和華賜人智慧；知識和聰明都由他口而出。

他們必飄流，從這海到那海，從北邊到東邊，往來奔跑，尋求耶和華的話，卻尋不着。

人多述說自己的仁慈，但忠信人誰能遇着呢？

你當買真理；就是智慧、訓誨，和聰明也都不可賣。
