I will bring terror on you from all those around you,” declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.“ Every one of you will be driven away, and no one will gather the fugitives.

他们的寡妇在我面前比海沙更多；我使灭命的午间来，攻击少年人的母亲，使痛苦惊吓忽然临到她身上。

加略被攻取，保障也被占据。到那日，摩押的勇士心中疼痛如临产的妇人。摩押必被毁灭，不再成国，因他向耶和华夸大。”耶和华说：“摩押的居民哪，恐惧、陷坑、网罗都临近你。躲避恐惧的必坠入陷坑；从陷坑上来的必被网罗缠住；因我必使追讨之年临到摩押。这是耶和华说的。

你们各人必从破口直往前行，投入哈门。”这是耶和华说的。

因耶和华如此说：‘我必使你自觉惊吓，你也必使众朋友惊吓；他们必倒在仇敌的刀下，你也必亲眼看见；我必将犹大人全交在巴比伦王的手中，他要将他们掳到巴比伦去，也要用刀将他们杀戮。

我必惊动他的心，他要听见风声就归回本地。我必使他在那里倒在刀下。’”

因为主使亚兰人的军队听见车马的声音，是大军的声音；他们就彼此说：“这必是以色列王贿买赫人的诸王和埃及人的诸王来攻击我们。”所以，在黄昏的时候他们起来逃跑，撇下帐棚、马、驴，营盘照旧，只顾逃命。

恶人虽无人追赶也逃跑；义人却胆壮像狮子。

你兄弟遭难的日子，你不当瞪眼看着；犹大人被灭的日子，你不当因此欢乐；他们遭难的日子，你不当说狂傲的话。我民遭灾的日子，你不当进他们的城门；他们遭灾的日子，你不当瞪眼看着他们受苦；他们遭灾的日子，你不当伸手抢他们的财物；你不当站在岔路口剪除他们中间逃脱的；他们遭难的日子，你不当将他们剩下的人交付仇敌。”

对他们说：“我知道耶和华已经把这地赐给你们，并且因你们的缘故我们都惊慌了。这地的一切居民在你们面前心都消化了；

求你献谋略，行公平，使你的影子在午间如黑夜，隐藏被赶散的人，不可显露逃民。

惊吓的声音常在他耳中；在平安时，抢夺的必临到他那里。
