孰能與我比儗、孰能與我辯論、孰能為民牧、侍於我側我遴選之、以目會意、彼則疾趨、攻擊斯邦、譬彼獅子、因約但之水漲溢、出自河濱、遊於牧地、青草芊綿。

敵必忽來、如獅自約但河濱之叢林而上、攻擊鞏固之所、轉瞬之間、我將以東人逐於其地、誰蒙簡選、則我命之以轄斯地、孰能與我比擬、孰能與我爭辯、有何牧人、能立於我前、

“ Like a lion coming up from Jordan’s thickets to a rich pastureland, I will chase Edom from its land in an instant. Who is the chosen one I will appoint for this? Who is like me and who can challenge me? And what shepherd can stand against me?”

“ I will be like a lion coming up from the bushes by the Jordan River. I will hunt in rich grasslands. I will chase you from your land in an instant. What nation will I choose to do this? Which one will I appoint? Is anyone like me? Who would dare to argue with me? What leader can stand against me?”

Behold, like a lion coming up from the jungle of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly make him run away from her. And I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like me? Who will summon me? What shepherd can stand before me?

I will come like a lion from the thickets of the Jordan, leaping on the sheep in the pasture. I will chase Edom from its land, and I will appoint the leader of my choice. For who is like me, and who can challenge me? What ruler can oppose my will?”

“ Look, it will be like a lion coming from the thickets of the Jordan to the watered grazing land. I will chase Edom away from her land in a flash. I will appoint whoever is chosen for her. For who is like me? Who will issue me a summons? Who is the shepherd who can stand against me?”

Behold, one will come up like a lion from the thicket of the Jordan to a perennially watered pasture; for in an instant I will chase him away from it, and I will appoint over it whoever is chosen. For who is like Me, and who will summon Me into court? And who then is the shepherd who can stand against Me?”

“ Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the floodplain of the Jordan Against the dwelling place of the strong; But I will suddenly make him run away from her. Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high,who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? (niv)

For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord? Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings? (niv)

Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him. (niv)

If only I knew where to find him; if only I could go to his dwelling!I would state my case before him and fill my mouth with arguments.I would find out what he would answer me, and consider what he would say to me.Would he vigorously oppose me? No, he would not press charges against me.There the upright can establish their innocence before him, and there I would be delivered forever from my judge. (niv)

Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you. (niv)

“ To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One. (niv)

Who is like you, Lord God Almighty? You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you. (niv)

Listen to the wail of the shepherds; their rich pastures are destroyed! Listen to the roar of the lions; the lush thicket of the Jordan is ruined! (niv)
