你這住巖石的密洞中、雄據岡陵之高處的啊，你那令人戰慄的威風、你心中的傲慢氣、把你欺騙了。即使你如大鷹高高搭窩，就是從那裏我也必將你拉下：這是永恆主發神諭說的。

爾居巖穴、據山巔者、自以為可畏、心傲而自欺、爾縱若鷹巢於高處、我必取爾、自彼而降、耶和華言之矣、

爾居山巖、險隘、危迫之地、心志倨傲、至於自迷、爾巢雖高、譬彼神鷹、我耶和華必使爾降為卑。

爾居巖穴、據守山巔、自以為可畏、心志狂傲以自昧、雖爾如鷹結巢於高處、我必自彼使爾降落、此乃主所言、

The terror you inspire and the pride of your heart have deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rocks, who occupy the heights of the hill. Though you build your nest as high as the eagle’s, from there I will bring you down,” declares the Lord.

To go into the clefts of the rocks, And into the crags of the rugged rocks, From the terror of the Lord And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily.

The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created.“ You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you.“ By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones.“ Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you.“ You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth In the sight of all who saw you.All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; You have become a horror, And shall be no more forever.”’”

“ O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your face is lovely.”

You who dwell in Moab, Leave the cities and dwell in the rock, And be like the dove which makes her nest In the sides of the cave’s mouth.“ We have heard the pride of Moab( He is exceedingly proud), Of his loftiness and arrogance and pride, And of the haughtiness of his heart.”

But thus says the Lord:“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.

For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.You will reduce the noise of aliens, As heat in a dry place; As heat in the shadow of a cloud, The song of the terrible ones will be diminished.
