“那逃避恐惧的，必跌进陷阱；那从陷阱中出来的，必被圈套困着。因为我必使摩押受惩罚的年日临到它。”这是耶和华的宣告。

“那逃避恐懼的，必跌進陷阱；那從陷阱中出來的，必被圈套困著。因為我必使摩押受懲罰的年日臨到它。”這是耶和華的宣告。

那逃避恐怖的、必墜入陷坑；那從陷坑中上來的、必被機檻纏住；因為當他們被察罰的年日我必使這些災禍臨到摩押：這是永恆主發神諭說的。

逃於驚駭者、必陷於坎阱、出於坎阱者、必罹於機檻、蓋我必使懲罰摩押之年臨之、耶和華言之矣、

免於驚駭者、必陷於坎阱、出於坎阱者、必罹於機檻、屆期我必降災於摩押。

逃避驚懼之事者、必陷於坎阱、出自坎阱者、必罹於網羅、我必使摩押受罰之期速臨、此乃主所言、

“ Whoever flees from the terror will fall into a pit, whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare; for I will bring on Moab the year of her punishment,” declares the Lord.

Anyone who runs away from the terror will fall into the pit. Anyone who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the trap. The time is coming when I will punish Moab,” announces the Lord.

He who flees from the terror shall fall into the pit, and he who climbs out of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For I will bring these things upon Moab, the year of their punishment, declares the Lord.

“ Those who flee in terror will fall into a trap, and those who escape the trap will step into a snare. I will see to it that you do not get away, for the time of your judgment has come,” says the Lord.

He who flees from the panic will fall in the pit, and he who climbs from the pit will be captured in the trap, for I will bring against Moab the year of their punishment. This is the LORD’s declaration.

好像人躲避獅子卻遇見熊；進房屋以手靠牆，卻被蛇咬。

它的傭兵好像圈裏的肥牛犢，他們轉身退後，一齊逃跑，站立不住；因為他們遭難的日子、受罰的時刻已經來臨。

其餘的都逃向亞弗，到了城裏，城牆倒塌，壓死了剩下的二萬七千人。便‧哈達也逃入城內，藏在嚴密的內室裏。

耶和華的使者出去，在亞述營中殺了十八萬五千人。清早有人起來，看哪，都是死屍。亞述王西拿基立就拔營回去，住在尼尼微。一日，他在他的神明尼斯洛廟裏叩拜，他兒子亞得米勒和沙利色用刀殺了他，然後逃到亞拉臘地；他兒子以撒‧哈頓接續他作王。

降罰的日子近了，報應的時候已經來到。以色列必知道，先知愚昧，受靈感動的人狂妄，皆因你多多作惡，大懷怨恨。

到降罰的日子，災禍從遠方臨到，那時，你們要怎麼辦呢？你們要向誰逃奔求救呢？你們的財寶要存放何處呢？

「看哪，我要差派許多打魚的捕獲他們；以後，我也要派許多打獵的，從各山上、各岡上、各石穴中獵取他們。這是耶和華說的。

偶像都是虛無的，是迷惑人的作品，到受罰的時刻必被除滅。

我看見主站在祭壇旁，說：「你要擊打柱頂，使門檻震動，要剪除眾人當中為首的，他們中最後的，我必用刀殺戮；無一人能逃避，無一人能逃脫。「雖然他們挖透陰間，我的手必從那裏拉出他們；雖然他們爬到天上，我必從那裏拿下他們；雖然藏在迦密山頂，我必在那裏搜尋，擒拿他們；雖然離開我眼前藏在海底，我必在那裏命令蛇咬他們；雖然被仇敵擄去，我也必在那裏命令刀劍殺戮他們；我必定睛在他們身上，降禍不降福。」

快跑的無從避難，壯士無法使力，勇士也不能自救；拿弓的站立不住，腿快的不能逃脫，騎馬的也不能自救。

他們當中最好的，不過像蒺藜；最正直的，不過如荊棘籬笆。你守候的日子，懲罰已經來到，他們必擾亂不安。

它們都是虛無的，是迷惑人的東西，到它們受罰的時刻必被除滅。

因此，他們的道路必像黑暗中的滑地，他們必被追趕，仆倒在其上；因為在他們受罰之年，我必使災禍臨到他們。這是耶和華說的。

他們行可憎之事，應當羞愧；然而他們卻一點也不覺得羞愧，又不知羞恥。因此，他們必與仆倒的人一樣仆倒；我懲罰他們的時候，他們必跌倒。這是耶和華說的。
