彼俱除髮薙鬚、割傷己手、腰間繫麻、

Every head is shaved and every beard cut off; every hand is slashed and every waist is covered with sackcloth.

Every head is shaved. Every beard is cut off. Every hand is cut. And every waist is covered with the clothes of sadness.

“ For every head is shaved and every beard cut off. On all the hands are gashes, and around the waist is sackcloth.

The people shave their heads and beards in mourning. They slash their hands and put on clothes made of burlap.

Indeed, every head is bald and every beard is chopped short. On every hand is a gash and sackcloth around the waist.

迦萨成了光秃，亚实基伦归于无有。平原中所剩的啊，你割划自己，要到几时呢？

摩押上到神庙和底本的丘坛去哭泣；它因尼波和米底巴哀号，各人头上光秃，胡须剃净。他们在街市上腰束麻布，都在房顶和广场上哀号，泪流不停。

雅各就撕裂衣服，腰间围上麻布，为他儿子哀伤了多日。

有八十人从示剑、示罗和撒玛利亚前来，胡须剃去，衣服撕裂，身体划破，手拿素祭和乳香，要奉到耶和华的殿。

他们连大带小，都必在这地死亡，不得埋葬。人必不为他们哀哭，不为他们割划自己，也不剃光头。

吕便回到坑旁，看哪，约瑟不在坑里，就撕裂自己的衣服，

“我要使你们的节期变为悲哀，你们一切的歌曲变为哀歌；我要使众人腰束麻布，头上光秃；我要使这悲哀如丧独子，其结局如悲痛的日子。

腰束麻布，战栗笼罩他们；各人脸上羞愧，头上光秃。

“我要赐权柄给我那两个见证人，穿着粗麻衣说预言一千二百六十天。”

他昼夜常在坟墓里和山中喊叫，又用石头打自己。

犹大啊，为了你所喜爱的儿女，你要剪发，剃光头，要使你的头光秃，如同秃鹰，因为他们被掳去离开你了。

又为你使头光秃，用麻布束腰，号啕痛哭，痛苦至极。

希西家王听见了，就撕裂衣服，披上麻衣，进了耶和华的殿。

必有腐烂代替馨香，绳子代替腰带，光秃代替美发，麻衣系腰代替华服，烙痕代替美貌。

不可为死人割划自己的身体，也不可在身上刺花纹。我是耶和华。

王听见妇人的话，就撕裂衣服；那时，王在城墙上经过，百姓看见了，看哪，王贴身穿着麻布。

他们大声求告，按着他们的仪式，用刀枪刺割自己，直到浑身流血。

亚哈听见这些话，就撕裂衣服，禁食，贴身穿着麻布，也睡在麻布上，沮丧地走来走去。
