我要灭绝在摩押那些邱坛上献祭和向他们的神烧香的。”这是耶和华的宣告。

永恆主發神諭說：我必使那在邱壇獻上祭物的、和那向他神明燻祭的、在摩押地都止息住。

耶和華曰、在摩押獻祭於崇邱、焚香於其神者、我必絕之、

耶和華曰、在摩押四境、無人陟崇邱、焚香奉事其上帝、我使之然。

主曰、在摩押地、凡上邱壇、焚香於摩押諸神者、我必滅之、

In Moab I will put an end to those who make offerings on the high places and burn incense to their gods,” declares the Lord.

到那时，摩押人虽朝见他们的神，虽在高处弄得疲乏不堪，又到他们的圣所去祷告，却总不得亨通。

他们进入房子（“房子”或译：“庙宇”），又往底本，上到高处去哭泣，摩押人为尼波和米底巴哀号；各人头上都光秃，胡须剃净。

同献的素祭，是用油调和的细面，为每头公牛要献三公斤；为每只公绵羊，要献两公斤；为那七只公羊羔，每只要献一公斤；还要献一只公山羊，为你们赎罪；

你因为倚靠你的成就和财富，就必被攻取；基抹必被掳去，事奉它的祭司和领袖都必一同被掳去。

犹大啊！你的城有多少，你的神也有多少；耶路撒冷的街道有多少，你为那可耻的巴力所设立烧香的祭坛也有多少。

巴勒宰了牛羊，送给巴兰和与他在一起的领袖。到了早晨，巴勒带着巴兰上了巴力的高冈；巴兰就从那里观看以色列民的边界。

每头公牛要献酒两公升作奠祭，每只公绵羊献酒一公升半，每只公羊羔献酒一公升。这是每月当献的燔祭，一年之中每个月都要这样。
