“ There is a cry from Heshbon to Elealeh; they make their voices heard as far as Jahaz— from Zoar to Horonaim and Eglath-shelishiyah— because even the Waters of Nimrim have become desolate.

自希實本哀號、聲聞於以利亞利、延及雅哈斯、又自瑣珥、至於何羅念、與伊基拉施利施亞、蓋寗林水濱、將成荒蕪、

自希實本至以利亞利、大聲號泣、遍聞於雅哈斯、自瑣耳至何囉念其聲遙聞、與三歲之牛、長鳴相若、寧林水濱、亦已荒蕪。

自希實本至以利亞利、直至雅哈斯、人俱放聲號哭、自瑣珥至何羅念、乃至厄革拉施利施亞皆然、自瑣珥至何羅念乃至厄革拉施利施亞皆然或作自瑣珥至何羅念人皆哀鳴如三年之牝牛犢蓋寧琳之水、亦盡枯涸、

“ The sound of their cry rises from Heshbon to Elealeh and Jahaz, from Zoar as far as Horonaim and Eglath Shelishiyah, for even the waters of Nimrim are dried up.

“ The sound of their cry rises from Heshbon. It rises as far as Elealeh and Jahaz. It rises from Zoar. It goes all the way to Horonaim and Eglath Shelishiyah. Even the waters at Nimrim are dried up.

“ From the outcry at Heshbon even to Elealeh, as far as Jahaz they utter their voice, from Zoar to Horonaim and Eglath-shelishiyah. For the waters of Nimrim also have become desolate.

“ Instead, their awful cries of terror can be heard from Heshbon clear across to Elealeh and Jahaz; from Zoar all the way to Horonaim and Eglath shelishiyah. Even the waters of Nimrim are dried up now.

From the outcry at Heshbon to Elealeh, to Jahaz they have raised their voice, from Zoar to Horonaim, and to Eglath shelishiyah; for even the waters of Nimrim will become desolate.

“ From the cry of Heshbon to Elealeh and to Jahaz They have uttered their voice, From Zoar to Horonaim, Like a three-year-old heifer; For the waters of Nimrim also shall be desolate.

From the cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh, even unto Jahaz have they uttered their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, to Eglath- shelishiyah: for the waters of Nimrim also shall become desolate.

“ There is a cry from Heshbon to Elealeh; they raise their voices as far as Jahaz— from Zoar to Horonaim and Eglath-shelishiyah— because even the waters of Nimrim have become desolate.

From the cry of Heshbon[ even] unto Elealeh,[ and even] unto Jahaz, have they uttered their voice, from Zoar[ even] unto Horonaim,[ as] an heifer of three years old: for the waters also of Nimrim shall be desolate.

Cries of anguish raised from Heshbon and Elealeh will be sounded as far as Jahaz. They will be sounded from Zoar as far as Horonaim and Eglath Shelishiyah. For even the waters of Nimrim will be dried up.

From the cry of Heshbon even to Elealeh, even to Jahaz they have uttered their voice, from Zoar even to Horonaim, to Eglath Shelishiyah; for the waters of Nimrim will also become desolate.

Heshbon and Elealeh cry out; their voices are heard as far away as Jahaz. Therefore the soldiers of Moab cry out, and they tremble.My heart cries out over Moab, whose fugitives flee as far as Zoar, to Eglath-shelishiyah; they go up the Ascent of Luhith weeping; they raise a cry of destruction on the road to Horonaim.The Waters of Nimrim are desolate; the grass is withered, the foliage is gone, and the vegetation has vanished.

“ The territory of Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo, and Beon,

There is no longer praise for Moab; they plan harm against her in Heshbon: Come, let’s cut her off from nationhood. Also, Madmen, you will be silenced; the sword will follow you.A voice cries out from Horonaim,“ devastation and a crushing blow!”

For on the Ascent to Luhith they will be weeping continually, and on the descent to Horonaim will be heard cries of distress over the destruction:

Beth-nimrah, and Beth-haran as fortified cities, and built sheep pens.The Reubenites rebuilt Heshbon, Elealeh, Kiriathaim,

Lot looked out and saw that the entire plain of the Jordan as far as Zoar was well watered everywhere like the LORD’s garden and the land of Egypt.( This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)

the Negev, and the plain in the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar.
