“ We have heard of Moab’s pride— how great is her arrogance!— of her insolence, her pride, her conceit and the haughtiness of her heart.

“ We have heard all about Moab’s pride. We have heard how very proud they are. They think they are so much better than others. Their pride reaches deep down inside their hearts.

We have heard of the pride of Moab— he is very proud— of his loftiness, his pride, and his arrogance, and the haughtiness of his heart.

We have all heard of the pride of Moab, for his pride is very great. We know of his lofty pride, his arrogance, and his haughty heart.

We have heard of Moab’s pride, great pride, indeed— his insolence, arrogance, pride, and haughty heart.

We have heard of the pride of Moab— he is very proud— Of his haughtiness, his pride, his arrogance, and his self exaltation.

“ We have heard the pride of Moab( He is exceedingly proud), Of his loftiness and arrogance and pride, And of the haughtiness of his heart.”

“ We have heard of the pride of Moab. He is very proud in his loftiness, his pride, his arrogance, and the arrogance of his heart.

我們聽說摩押人驕傲，是極其驕傲；聽說他狂妄、驕傲、忿怒；他誇大的話是虛空的。

耶和華雖高，仍看顧低微的人；他卻從遠處看出驕傲的人。

到那日，眼目高傲的必降為卑；性情狂傲的都必屈膝；惟獨耶和華被尊崇。必有萬軍耶和華降罰的一個日子，要臨到驕傲狂妄的；一切自高的都必降為卑；

因為，凡自高的，必降為卑；自卑的，必升為高。」

你要以榮耀莊嚴為妝飾，以尊榮威嚴為衣服；要發出你滿溢的怒氣，見一切驕傲的人，使他降卑；見一切驕傲的人，將他制伏，把惡人踐踏在本處；

敗壞之先，人心驕傲；尊榮以前，必有謙卑。

有一宗人，眼目何其高傲，眼皮也是高舉。

現在我－尼布甲尼撒讚美、尊崇、恭敬天上的王；因為他所做的全都誠實，他所行的也都公平。那行動驕傲的，他能降為卑。

但他賜更多的恩典，所以經上說：神阻擋驕傲的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。

敬畏耶和華在乎恨惡邪惡；那驕傲、狂妄，並惡道，以及乖謬的口，都為我所恨惡。

我聽見摩押人的毀謗和亞捫人的辱罵，就是毀謗我的百姓，自誇自大，侵犯他們的境界。萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神說：我指着我的永生起誓：摩押必像所多瑪，亞捫人必像蛾摩拉，都變為刺草、鹽坑、永遠荒廢之地。我百姓所剩下的必擄掠他們；我國中所餘剩的必得着他們的地。這事臨到他們是因他們驕傲，自誇自大，毀謗萬軍之耶和華的百姓。耶和華必向他們顯可畏之威，因他必叫世上的諸神瘦弱。列國海島的居民各在自己的地方敬拜他。古實人哪，你們必被我的刀所殺。耶和華必伸手攻擊北方，毀滅亞述，使尼尼微荒涼，又乾旱如曠野。羣畜，就是各國的走獸必臥在其中；鵜鶘和箭豬要宿在柱頂上。在窗戶內有鳴叫的聲音；門檻都必毀壞，香柏木已經露出。這是素來歡樂安然居住的城，心裏說：惟有我，除我以外再沒有別的；現在何竟荒涼成為野獸躺臥之處！凡經過的人都必搖手嗤笑她。
