耶和華云、有水自北方湧出、將成汎濫之河、淹沒斯土、與其所有、及厥城邑居民、眾皆哀哭、境內諸民號咷、

耶和華曰、大河自北至、勢若洪濤、泛濫斯土、諸邑民人、盡遭淹沒、號呼哭泣不已。

主如是云、水自北至、成為漲溢之河、泛濫斯地、淹沒其上所有、淹沒城邑與其居民、人俱號呼、居民哀哭、

This is what the Lord says:“ See how the waters are rising in the north; they will become an overflowing torrent. They will overflow the land and everything in it, the towns and those who live in them. The people will cry out; all who dwell in the land will wail

The Lord said,“ The armies of Babylon are like waters rising in the north. They will become a great flood. They will flow over the land and everything in it. They will flow over the towns and those who live in them. The people will cry out. All those who live in the land will weep.

“ Thus says the Lord: Behold, waters are rising out of the north, and shall become an overflowing torrent; they shall overflow the land and all that fills it, the city and those who dwell in it. Men shall cry out, and every inhabitant of the land shall wail.

This is what the Lord says:“ A flood is coming from the north to overflow the land. It will destroy the land and everything in it— cities and people alike. People will scream in terror, and everyone in the land will wail.

他们上巴益，又往底本，到高处去哭泣。摩押人因尼波和米底巴哀号，各人头上光秃，胡须剃净。他们在街市上都腰束麻布，在房顶上和宽阔处俱各哀号，眼泪汪汪。希实本和以利亚利悲哀的声音达到雅杂，所以摩押带兵器的高声喊嚷，人心战兢。我心为摩押悲哀；他的贵胄逃到琐珥，到伊基拉施利施亚。他们上鲁希坡，随走随哭；在何罗念的路上，因毁灭举起哀声。

耶和华对我说：“必有灾祸从北方发出，临到这地的一切居民。”

愿天欢喜，愿地快乐！愿海和其中所充满的澎湃！

哀声遍闻摩押的四境；哀号的声音达到以基莲；哀号的声音达到比珥以琳。

地和其中所充满的，世界和住在其间的，都属耶和华。

如此，人从日落之处必敬畏耶和华的名，从日出之地也必敬畏他的荣耀；因为仇敌好像急流的河水冲来，是耶和华之气所驱逐的。

蛇就在妇人身后，从口中吐出水来，像河一样，要将妇人冲去。地却帮助妇人，开口吞了从龙口吐出来的水。

摩押何等毁坏！何等哀号！何等羞愧转背！这样，摩押必令四围的人嗤笑惊骇。”

“从何罗念有喊荒凉大毁灭的哀声：摩押毁灭了！他的孩童发哀声，使人听见。人上鲁希坡随走随哭，因为在何罗念的下坡听见毁灭的哀声。

愿海和其中所充满的澎湃；世界和住在其间的也要发声。

耶和华对先知耶利米所说的话，论到巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒要来攻击埃及地：

嗐！你们这些富足人哪，应当哭泣、号啕，因为将有苦难临到你们身上。

我若是饥饿，我不用告诉你，因为世界和其中所充满的都是我的。

门哪，应当哀号！城啊，应当呼喊！非利士全地啊，你都消化了！因为有烟从北方出来，他行伍中并无乱队的。

若有人对你们说：“这是献过祭的物”，就要为那告诉你们的人，并为良心的缘故不吃。

但他必以涨溢的洪水淹没尼尼微，又驱逐仇敌进入黑暗。

耶和华说：“当那日，从鱼门必发出悲哀的声音，从二城发出哀号的声音，从山间发出大破裂的响声。玛革提施的居民哪，你们要哀号，因为迦南的商民都灭亡了！凡搬运银子的都被剪除。

必有无数的军兵势如洪水，在他面前冲没败坏；同盟的君也必如此。

天使又对我说：“你所看见那淫妇坐的众水，就是多民、多人、多国、多方。

主万军之耶和华摸地，地就消化，凡住在地上的都必悲哀。地必全然像尼罗河涨起，如同埃及河落下。那在天上建造楼阁、在地上安定穹苍、命海水浇在地上的，耶和华是他的名。

拿着七碗的七位天使中，有一位前来对我说：“你到这里来，我将坐在众水上的大淫妇所要受的刑罚指给你看。

我必以公平为准绳，以公义为线铊。冰雹必冲去谎言的避所；大水必漫过藏身之处。”

所以我说：“你们转眼不看我，我要痛哭。不要因我众民的毁灭，就竭力安慰我。”因为主万军之耶和华使“异象谷”有溃乱、践踏、烦扰的日子。城被攻破，哀声达到山间。

因为地和其中所充满的都属乎主。

不要容快跑的逃避；不要容勇士逃脱；他们在北方幼发拉底河边绊跌仆倒。像尼罗河涨发，像江河之水翻腾的是谁呢？埃及像尼罗河涨发，像江河的水翻腾。他说：“我要涨发遮盖遍地；我要毁灭城邑和其中的居民。
