仇敌说：‘我要追赶，我要追上，我要分掳物，我要在他们身上称我的心愿。我要拔出刀来，亲手杀灭他们。’你叫风一吹，海就把他们淹没；他们如铅沉在大水之中。

你藉你的臣仆辱骂主说：我率领许多战车上山顶，到黎巴嫩极深之处；我要砍伐其中高大的香柏树和佳美的松树。我必上极高之处，进入肥田的树林。我已经挖井喝水；我必用脚掌踏干埃及的一切河。“耶和华说：你岂没有听见我早先所做的、古时所立的吗？现在藉你使坚固城荒废，变为乱堆。

“人子啊，你要为埃及王法老作哀歌，说：从前你在列国中，如同少壮狮子；现在你却像海中的大鱼。你冲出江河，用爪搅动诸水，使江河浑浊。

说主耶和华如此说：埃及王法老啊，我与你这卧在自己河中的大鱼为敌。你曾说：‘这河是我的，是我为自己造的。’
