我的僕人雅各啊，你、不要懼怕！永恆主發神諭說：因為是我與你同在，因為我必將我所放逐你到的列國盡行毁滅；你呢、我卻不盡行毁滅；我要合乎常度地懲罰你，卻不能讓你免受刑罰。』

Do not be afraid, Jacob my servant, for I am with you,” declares the Lord.“ Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.”

People of Jacob, do not be afraid. You are my servant. I am with you,” announces the Lord.“ I will completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you. But I will not completely destroy you. I will correct you. But I will be fair. I will not let you go without any punishment.”

Fear not, O Jacob my servant, declares the Lord, for I am with you. I will make a full end of all the nations to which I have driven you, but of you I will not make a full end. I will discipline you in just measure, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.”

Fear not thou, O Jacob my servant, saith Jehovah; for I am with thee: for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee; but I will not make a full end of thee, but I will correct thee in measure, and will in no wise leave thee unpunished.

And you, My servant Jacob, do not be afraid— this is the Lord’s declaration— for I will be with you. I will bring destruction on all the nations where I have banished you, but I will not bring destruction on you. I will discipline you with justice, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.

難道你們已經忘記那安慰的話嗎？就是他對你們如同對兒女那樣講論的話：「我兒，你不可輕看主的管教；被他責備的時候，也不可喪氣。因為主所愛的人，主都管教；他所接納的每一個兒子，他都鞭打。」對管教的事，你們要忍受；神對待你們，就像對待兒女那樣。到底哪一個兒子不受父親的管教呢？大家都有份受管教；你們如果沒有受管教，那麼，你們就是私生子，不是兒子了。再者，我們有肉身的父親來管教我們，我們尚且敬重他們，何況對這位萬靈之父，我們難道不更要服從他而活著嗎？肉身的父親在短暫的日子裡，固然照著自己的意思來管教我們；但萬靈之父是為了我們的益處管教我們，好使我們在他的聖潔上有份。

萬民哪，你們必被打破，必被擊碎！遠方的眾人哪，當傾聽！你們束腰吧，也終必被擊碎；你們束腰吧，也終必被擊碎！你們籌謀吧，也終必遭挫敗；你們開口吧，也終必不成立！因為神與我們同在！

凡是我所愛的，我都責備、管教。所以你應當熱心，應當悔改。

即使我們受懲罰，也是在受主的管教，免得我們和這世界一同被定罪。

你不要害怕，因為我與你同在；不要驚惶，因為我是你的神。我必堅固你，必定幫助你，必定用我公義的右手扶持你。

這樣，鐵、泥、銅、銀、金都一同被砸得粉碎了，就像夏天打穀場上的糠秕，被風吹散，無蹤跡可尋；但砸這像的石頭卻變成一座大山，充滿全地。

主擊打以色列，難道像擊打那些擊打他們的人嗎？主殺戮以色列，難道像殺戮那些殺戮他們的人嗎？

我指著自己起誓——從我的口憑公義發出的話語，絕不返回——『萬膝必向我跪下，萬口必向我起誓。』

因此藉著以下的事，雅各的罪孽才得以贖清：他要使祭壇的所有石頭都變為粉碎的灰石，使亞舍拉和香壇不再豎立——這必成為他罪被除掉的全部果效。

「看哪，那童貞女要懷孕，她要生一個兒子，人們將稱他的名為以馬內利。」——「以馬內利」翻譯出來就是「神與我們同在」。

凡我所吩咐你們的，都教導他們遵守。看哪，我就天天都與你們同在，直到這世代的終結。」

因為我與你同在，而且沒有人會下手傷害你；原來在這城裡有許多我的子民。」

實際上，如果他們被丟棄，使世人與神和好了，那麼他們蒙接納，如果不是從死人中復生，又是什麼呢？如果初熟的麥子是聖潔的，那麵團也就聖潔了；如果樹根是聖潔的，那樹枝也就聖潔了。但如果有些樹枝被折下來，而你這野橄欖枝被接在其上，並且一同有份於那橄欖樹根的豐富養分，

但是主站在我身邊，使我剛強，為要藉著我使傳道得以完成，讓所有外邦人都能聽見；我也從獅子口裡被救了出來。
