I will give them into the hands of those who want to kill them— Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his officers. Later, however, Egypt will be inhabited as in times past,” declares the Lord.

我必以埃及王法老合弗拉、付於厥敵、及索其命者之手、如我以猶大王西底家、付於厥敵、及索其命者巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、耶和華言之矣、

主耶和華曰、巴比倫王之刃必及爾、

故主耶和華曰、我必使刃臨爾、絕爾人畜、因埃及王自謂、河為我有、乃我所造、埃及地必淒涼荒廢、則知我乃耶和華、我乃敵爾、及爾諸河、必使埃及地荒廢淒涼、自密奪至色弗尼、延及古實界、人足不履之、獸蹄不經之、無人居處、歷四十年、我必使埃及地荒蕪、列於荒蕪之國、其邑毀壞、列於毀壞之邑、歷四十年、使埃及人散於異邦、分於列國、主耶和華曰、越四十年、我必集埃及人、使離分散而至之民、反其俘囚、俾歸巴忒羅地、乃其故土、在彼為卑微之邦、

耶和華曰、惟至末日、我必返摩押之俘囚、論摩押受鞫、其言至是而止、

然至末日、我必返以攔之俘囚、耶和華言之矣、
