當告埃及人、播揚斯言於蜜奪、挪弗、答比匿、云、當預為備、屹立不動、四周之民、亡於鋒刃。

當宣告於伊及、播揚於密奪、密奪又作密革奪傳示於挪弗、答比匿云、當為備屹立、因爾之四周、有鋒刃殺戮、

“ Announce this in Egypt, and proclaim it in Migdol; proclaim it also in Memphis and Tahpanhes:‘ Take your positions and get ready, for the sword devours those around you.’

“ Egyptians, here is what I want you to announce in your land. Announce it in the city of Migdol. Also announce it in Memphis and Tahpanhes. Say,‘ Take up your battle positions! Get ready! The sword eats up those around you.’

“ Declare in Egypt, and proclaim in Migdol; proclaim in Memphis and Tahpanhes; say,‘ Stand ready and be prepared, for the sword shall devour around you.’

“ Shout it out in Egypt! Publish it in the cities of Migdol, Memphis, and Tahpanhes! Mobilize for battle, for the sword will devour everyone around you.

Announce it in Egypt, and proclaim it in Migdol! Proclaim it in Memphis and in Tahpanhes! Say,“ Take positions! Prepare yourself, for the sword devours all around you.”

那日是万军之主耶和华报仇的日子，要向敌人报仇。刀剑必吞吃饱足，饮血满足；因为在北方幼发拉底河边，有祭物献给万军之主耶和华。

有话临到耶利米，论到住埃及地所有的犹大人，就是住在密夺、答比匿、挪弗、巴特罗境内的犹大人，说：

若不听从，反倒悖逆，必被刀剑吞灭；这是耶和华亲口说的。”

你们要预备大小盾牌，往前上阵，套上车，骑上马！顶盔站立，磨枪披甲！

在答比匿，耶和华的话临到耶利米，说：“你要在犹大人眼前用手拿几块大石头，藏在答比匿法老的宫门砌砖的石墩上，

看哪，我与你为敌，将它的战车焚烧成烟，刀剑必吞灭你的少壮狮子；我必从地上除灭你的猎物，你使者的声音必不再听见。这是万军之耶和华说的。

我责打你们的儿女是徒然的，他们不受管教。你们自己的刀吞灭你们的先知，好像残害人的狮子。

当在列国中宣告：预备打仗，激发勇士，使所有战士上前来。要将犁头打成刀剑，镰刀打成戈矛；弱者要说：“我是勇士。”四围的列国啊，你们要速速前来，一同聚集。耶和华啊，求你使你的勇士降临。列国都当兴起，上到约沙法谷；因为我必坐在那里，审判四围的列国。

便雅悯人哪，当逃离耶路撒冷，在提哥亚吹号角，在伯‧哈基琳升信号，因为有灾祸与大毁灭从北方逼近。那秀美娇嫩的锡安，我必剪除。牧人必引领羊群到它那里，在它周围支搭帐棚，各在自己的地方放牧。“你们要准备攻击它。起来吧，我们要趁正午上去。”“哀哉！日已渐斜，黄昏的影子拖长了。”“起来吧，我们要在夜间上去，毁坏它的宫殿。”

押尼珥呼叫约押说：“刀剑岂可永远吞噬呢？你岂不知，结局必是痛苦的吗？你要等到何时才叫百姓回去，不追赶他们的弟兄呢？”

耶和华的刀沾满了血，是用油脂和羔羊、公山羊的血，并公绵羊肾上的油脂滋润的；因为在波斯拉有祭物献给耶和华，在以东地有大屠杀。

我必在埃及放火，训必大大痛苦，挪被攻破，挪弗终日遭敌侵袭。亚文和比‧伯实的年轻人必倒在刀下，这些城镇将被掳掠。我在答比匿折断埃及的轭，使它骄傲的权势止息。那时，日光必退去；至于这城，必有密云遮蔽，邻近的城镇也遭掳掠。

“你吩咐以色列人转回，要在比‧哈希录前面，密夺和海的中间，巴力‧洗分的前面安营。你们要在对面，靠近海边安营。

灭命的来到旷野中一切光秃的高地；耶和华的刀从地这边直到地那边，尽行杀灭，凡血肉之躯都不得平安。

亚述必倒在刀下，并非人的刀；有刀要将它吞灭，并非人的刀。它要逃避这刀，它的年轻人必做苦工。
