The nations will hear of your shame; your cries will fill the earth. One warrior will stumble over another; both will fall down together.”

你豈比挪亞們強呢？挪亞們坐落在眾河之間，周圍有水；海作她的濠溝，又作她的城牆。古實和埃及是她無窮的力量；弗人和路比族是她的幫手。但她被遷移，被擄去；她的嬰孩在各市口上也被摔死。人為她的尊貴人拈鬮；她所有的大人都被鍊子鎖着。

猶大悲哀，城門衰敗。眾人披上黑衣坐在地上；耶路撒冷的哀聲上達。

不要容快跑的逃避；不要容勇士逃脫；他們在北方幼發拉底河邊絆跌仆倒。

我必激動埃及人攻擊埃及人－弟兄攻擊弟兄，鄰舍攻擊鄰舍；這城攻擊那城，這國攻擊那國。

「我使你敗亡的風聲傳到你所不認識的各國。那時，我必使多民的心因你愁煩。我在許多國民和君王面前向你掄我的刀，國民就必因你驚奇，君王也必因你極其恐慌。在你仆倒的日子，他們各人為自己的性命時刻戰兢。」主耶和華如此說：「巴比倫王的刀必臨到你。我必藉勇士的刀使你的眾民仆倒；這勇士都是列國中強暴的。他們必使埃及的驕傲歸於無有；埃及的眾民必被滅絕。

耶和華說：當那日，從魚門必發出悲哀的聲音，從二城發出哀號的聲音，從山間發出大破裂的響聲。

他們只得屈身在被擄的人以下，仆倒在被殺的人以下。雖然如此，耶和華的怒氣還未轉消；他的手仍伸不縮。

未曾死的人都生了痔瘡。合城呼號，聲音上達於天。

有哀號的聲音從巴比倫出來；有大毀滅的響聲從迦勒底人之地發出。

我心為摩押悲哀；他的貴冑逃到瑣珥，到伊基拉‧施利施亞。他們上魯希坡，隨走隨哭；在何羅念的路上，因毀滅舉起哀聲。因為寧林的水成為乾涸，青草枯乾，嫩草滅沒，青綠之物，一無所有。因此，摩押人所得的財物和所積蓄的都要運過柳樹河。哀聲遍聞摩押的四境；哀號的聲音達到以基蓮；哀號的聲音達到比珥‧以琳。

因他們仆倒的聲音，地就震動。人在紅海那裏必聽見呼喊的聲音。
