是為萬軍之主耶和華之日、乃復仇之日、彼必復仇於敵、使刃食人而飽、飲血而足、緣萬軍之主耶和華、在北方伯拉河濱、有祀事焉、

先知曰、今日萬有之主耶和華降災於敵、雪其夙忿、使之被戮於鋒刃、飲血若醉、蓋萬有之主耶和華在於北方、百辣河濱、大行誅殛。

此日也、乃主萬有之天主復仇之日、復仇於敵、使刃食而得飽、飲血若醉、蓋主萬有之天主、在北方伯拉河濱、大行誅戮、

But that day belongs to the Lord, the Lord Almighty— a day of vengeance, for vengeance on his foes. The sword will devour till it is satisfied, till it has quenched its thirst with blood. For the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will offer sacrifice in the land of the north by the River Euphrates.

But that day belongs to me. I am the Lord who rules over all. It is a day for me to pay back my enemies. My sword will eat until it is satisfied. It will drink until it is not thirsty for blood anymore. I am the Lord. I am the Lord who rules over all. I will offer a sacrifice. I will offer it in the land of the north by the Euphrates River.

That day is the day of the Lord God of hosts, a day of vengeance, to avenge himself on his foes. The sword shall devour and be sated and drink its fill of their blood. For the Lord God of hosts holds a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

For this is the day of the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, a day of vengeance on his enemies. The sword will devour until it is satisfied, yes, until it is drunk with your blood! The Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, will receive a sacrifice today in the north country beside the Euphrates River.

That day belongs to the Lord, the GOD of Armies, a day of vengeance to avenge himself against his adversaries. The sword will devour and be satisfied; it will drink its fill of their blood, because it will be a sacrifice to the Lord, the GOD of Armies, in the northern land by the Euphrates River.

哀哉，這日子！因為耶和華的日子臨近，好像毀滅從全能者來到。

我要使我的箭飲血而醉，就是被殺被擄之人的血；我的刀也要吃肉，就是仇敵披髮頭顱的肉。』

論到埃及，關於埃及王尼哥法老的軍隊，這軍隊安營在幼發拉底河邊的迦基米施，是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒在約西亞的兒子猶大王約雅敬第四年所打敗的。

不要容快跑的逃避，也不要容勇士逃脫；在北方幼發拉底河邊，他們絆跌仆倒。

你們要哀號，因為耶和華的日子臨近了！這日來到，好像毀滅從全能者來到。

埃及王不再從他的國出征，因為巴比倫王把埃及王所管之地，從埃及溪谷直到幼發拉底河都奪去了。

我又看見一位天使站在太陽中，向天空一切的飛鳥大聲喊着說：「你們聚集來赴上帝的大宴席，為要吃君王的肉、將軍的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎士的肉、一切自主的和為奴的，以及尊貴的和卑賤的肉。」我又看見那獸和地上的君王，和他們的軍隊都聚集，要與白馬騎士和他的軍隊作戰。那獸被擒拿了；那在獸面前曾行奇事、迷惑了接受獸的印記和拜獸像的人的假先知，也與獸同被擒拿。他們兩個就活生生地被扔進燒着硫磺的火湖裏，其餘的人被白馬騎士口中吐出來的劍殺了；所有的飛鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

耶和華的大日臨近，臨近而且甚快；那是耶和華日子的風聲，勇士必在那裏痛痛地哭號。那日是憤怒的日子，急難困苦的日子，荒廢淒涼的日子，黑暗幽冥的日子，烏雲密佈的日子，

在主耶和華面前要靜默無聲，因為耶和華的日子快到了。耶和華已經預備祭物，將召來的人分別為聖。「到了獻祭給耶和華的日子，我要懲罰領袖和王子，及所有穿外邦衣服的人。

你們要在錫安吹角，在我的聖山發出警報。這地所有的居民要發顫，因為耶和華的日子快到，已經臨近了。

因為報仇之日在我心中，救贖我民之年已經來到。

宣告耶和華的恩年和我們的上帝報仇的日子；安慰所有悲哀的人，

「你，人子啊，主耶和華如此說：你要向各類的飛鳥和野地的走獸說：你們要聚集，來吧，從四方聚集來吃我為你們準備的祭物，就是在以色列的羣山上豐盛的祭物，叫你們吃肉、喝血。你們要吃勇士的肉，喝地上領袖的血，如吃公綿羊、羔羊、公山羊、公牛；他們全都是巴珊的肥畜。你們吃我為你們準備的祭物，必吃油脂直到飽了，喝血直到醉了。你們要因我席上的馬匹、騎兵、勇士和所有的戰士而飽足。這是主耶和華說的。」「我要在列國中彰顯我的榮耀，萬國就必看見我怎樣把手加在他們身上，施行審判。

因為這是報應的日子，要使經上所寫的都得應驗。

因為我的刀在天上將要顯現；看哪，這刀臨到以東和我所詛咒的民，要施行審判。耶和華的刀沾滿了血，是用油脂和羔羊、公山羊的血，並公綿羊腎上的油脂滋潤的；因為在波斯拉有祭物獻給耶和華，在以東地有大屠殺。野牛與他們一起倒下，牛犢和壯牛也一同倒下。他們的地被血染遍，他們的塵土因油脂肥潤。這是耶和華報仇之日，為錫安伸冤的報應之年。

你們要奔逃，離開巴比倫，各救自己的性命！不要陷在它的罪孽中一同滅亡，因為這是耶和華報仇的時刻，他必向巴比倫施行報應。

要在它四圍吶喊：「它已經投降，堡壘坍塌了，城牆拆毀了！」這是耶和華所報的仇。你們要向它報仇；它怎樣待人，你們也要怎樣待它。
