But that day belongs to the Lord, the Lord Almighty— a day of vengeance, for vengeance on his foes. The sword will devour till it is satisfied, till it has quenched its thirst with blood. For the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will offer sacrifice in the land of the north by the River Euphrates.

But that day belongs to me. I am the Lord who rules over all. It is a day for me to pay back my enemies. My sword will eat until it is satisfied. It will drink until it is not thirsty for blood anymore. I am the Lord. I am the Lord who rules over all. I will offer a sacrifice. I will offer it in the land of the north by the Euphrates River.

That day is the day of the Lord God of hosts, a day of vengeance, to avenge himself on his foes. The sword shall devour and be sated and drink its fill of their blood. For the Lord God of hosts holds a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

For this is the day of the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, a day of vengeance on his enemies. The sword will devour until it is satisfied, yes, until it is drunk with your blood! The Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, will receive a sacrifice today in the north country beside the Euphrates River.

哀哉其日、耶和華之日伊邇、必如殲滅自全能者而來、

必使我矢醉於血、我刃吞厥肉、即被虜見殺者之血、敵魁頭顱之肉、

論埃及、即論埃及王法老尼哥之軍旅、屯於伯拉河濱之迦基米施、在猶大王約西亞子約雅敬四年、為巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒所擊、

毋令疾趨者遁逃、毋令有勇者得逸、在北方伯拉河濱、眾咸躓而顚、

爾其號泣、蓋耶和華之日伊邇、殄滅自全能者而來、

埃及王不復由其國而來、乃因巴比倫王攻取其地、自埃及溪至伯拉河、○

我又見一使立於日中、大聲而呼、謂凡飛於天空之鳥曰、來、集赴上帝之盛筵、俾得食君王將帥勇士、及馬與乘之者、或自主為奴、與卑者尊者之肉、○我又見獸及世上諸王、並其軍咸集、欲與乘馬者及其軍戰、獸被執、偽先知亦然、即昔行異蹟於獸前、以惑受獸印誌而拜其像者、二者生投於火湖、以硫焚之、餘皆見殺於乘馬者口出之劍、眾鳥皆飽其肉焉、

耶和華之大日伊邇、既近且速、耶和華之日有聲、勇士慘然號哭、是日乃震怒之日、急難困苦之日、毀滅淒涼之日、幽暗晦冥之日、密雲深黑之日、

在主耶和華前、爾宜靜默、蓋耶和華之日伊邇、耶和華已備祭品、區別其賓客矣、至耶和華祭祀之日、必罰牧伯、與諸王子、及凡衣異服者、

吹角於錫安、示警於我聖山、境內居民、咸當戰慄、蓋耶和華之日將至、今伊邇矣、

蓋復仇之日、在我意中、我救贖之年已屆、

布告耶和華悅納之年、及我上帝復仇之日、慰藉憂民、

主耶和華曰、人子歟、當告飛鳥野獸云、我於以色列山、為爾備大祭、爾其會集、自四方而來、食肉飲血、食勇士之肉、飲牧伯之血、以為牡綿羊、羔羊、牡山羊、牡牛、皆巴珊之肥畜、我為爾所宰之祭品、爾將飽食其脂、醉飲其血、爾於我席、將飫馬與乘馬者、勇士及諸戰士、主耶和華言之矣、我必彰我榮於列邦、萬民必見我所行之鞫、所加之罰、

蓋此乃報復之日、致所載者皆應也、

我刃足飲於天、將臨以東、及我所詛之民、而審鞫之、耶和華之刃盈以血、潤以脂、即羔羊山羊之血、牡羊腎之脂、緣耶和華有祀事於波斯拉、行大戮於以東地、野牛與犢、以及牡牛、同就死地、其地因血而醉、其土因脂而腴、蓋耶和華有復仇之日、為錫安之故、有報施之年、

當自巴比倫逃出、各救己生、毋因其罪而見絕、斯乃耶和華復仇之期、必報之也、

環之而呼、彼已投誠、其堞毀壞、其垣傾圮、斯乃耶和華復仇、爾當復仇於彼、依其所行而報之、
