先知曰、今日萬有之主耶和華降災於敵、雪其夙忿、使之被戮於鋒刃、飲血若醉、蓋萬有之主耶和華在於北方、百辣河濱、大行誅殛。

此日也、乃主萬有之天主復仇之日、復仇於敵、使刃食而得飽、飲血若醉、蓋主萬有之天主、在北方伯拉河濱、大行誅戮、

But that day belongs to the Lord, the Lord Almighty— a day of vengeance, for vengeance on his foes. The sword will devour till it is satisfied, till it has quenched its thirst with blood. For the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will offer sacrifice in the land of the north by the River Euphrates.

But that day belongs to me. I am the Lord who rules over all. It is a day for me to pay back my enemies. My sword will eat until it is satisfied. It will drink until it is not thirsty for blood anymore. I am the Lord. I am the Lord who rules over all. I will offer a sacrifice. I will offer it in the land of the north by the Euphrates River.

That day is the day of the Lord God of hosts, a day of vengeance, to avenge himself on his foes. The sword shall devour and be sated and drink its fill of their blood. For the Lord God of hosts holds a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

For this is the day of the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, a day of vengeance on his enemies. The sword will devour until it is satisfied, yes, until it is drunk with your blood! The Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, will receive a sacrifice today in the north country beside the Euphrates River.

That day belongs to the Lord, the GOD of Armies, a day of vengeance to avenge himself against his adversaries. The sword will devour and be satisfied; it will drink its fill of their blood, because it will be a sacrifice to the Lord, the GOD of Armies, in the northern land by the Euphrates River.

哀哉！耶和華的日子臨近了。這日來到，好像毀滅從全能者來到。

我要使我的箭飲血飲醉，就是被殺被擄之人的血。我的刀要吃肉，乃是仇敵中首領之頭的肉。

論到關乎埃及王法老尼哥的軍隊：這軍隊安營在幼發拉底河邊的迦基米施，是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒在猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬第四年所打敗的。

不要容快跑的逃避；不要容勇士逃脫；他們在北方幼發拉底河邊絆跌仆倒。

你們要哀號，因為耶和華的日子臨近了！這日來到，好像毀滅從全能者來到。

埃及王不再從他國中出來；因為巴比倫王將埃及王所管之地，從埃及小河直到幼發拉底河都奪去了。

我又看見一位天使站在日頭中，向天空所飛的鳥大聲喊着說：「你們聚集來赴神的大筵席，可以吃君王與將軍的肉，壯士與馬和騎馬者的肉，並一切自主的為奴的，以及大小人民的肉。」我看見那獸和地上的君王，並他們的眾軍都聚集，要與騎白馬的並他的軍兵爭戰。那獸被擒拿；那在獸面前曾行奇事、迷惑受獸印記和拜獸像之人的假先知，也與獸同被擒拿。他們兩個就活活地被扔在燒着硫磺的火湖裏；其餘的被騎白馬者口中出來的劍殺了；飛鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

耶和華的大日臨近，臨近而且甚快，乃是耶和華日子的風聲；勇士必痛痛地哭號。那日是忿怒的日子，是急難困苦的日子，是荒廢淒涼的日子，是黑暗幽冥、密雲烏黑的日子，

你要在主耶和華面前靜默無聲，因為耶和華的日子快到。耶和華已經預備祭物，將他的客分別為聖。到了我－耶和華獻祭的日子，必懲罰首領和王子，並一切穿外邦衣服的。

你們要在錫安吹角，在我聖山吹出大聲。國中的居民都要發顫；因為耶和華的日子將到，已經臨近。

因為，報仇之日在我心中；救贖我民之年已經來到。

報告耶和華的恩年，和我們神報仇的日子；安慰一切悲哀的人，

「人子啊，主耶和華如此說：你要對各類的飛鳥和田野的走獸說：你們聚集來吧，要從四方聚到我為你們獻祭之地，就是在以色列山上獻大祭之地，好叫你們吃肉、喝血。你們必吃勇士的肉，喝地上首領的血，就如吃公綿羊、羊羔、公山羊、公牛，都是巴珊的肥畜。你們吃我為你們所獻的祭，必吃飽了脂油，喝醉了血。你們必在我席上飽吃馬匹和坐車的人，並勇士和一切的戰士。這是主耶和華說的。」「我必顯我的榮耀在列國中；萬民就必看見我所行的審判與我在他們身上所加的手。

因為這是報應的日子，使經上所寫的都得應驗。

因為我的刀在天上已經喝足；這刀必臨到以東和我所咒詛的民，要施行審判。耶和華的刀滿了血，用脂油和羊羔、公山羊的血，並公綿羊腰子的脂油滋潤的；因為耶和華在波斯拉有獻祭的事，在以東地大行殺戮。野牛、牛犢，和公牛要一同下來。他們的地喝醉了血；他們的塵土因脂油肥潤。因耶和華有報仇之日，為錫安的爭辯有報應之年。

你們要從巴比倫中逃奔，各救自己的性命！不要陷在她的罪孽中一同滅亡；因為這是耶和華報仇的時候，他必向巴比倫施行報應。

你們要在她四圍吶喊；她已經投降。外郭坍塌了，城牆拆毀了，因為這是耶和華報仇的事。你們要向巴比倫報仇；她怎樣待人，也要怎樣待她。
