Do you seek great things for yourself? Don’t seek them; for, behold, I will bring evil on all flesh,’ says Yahweh;‘ but I will let you escape with your life wherever you go.’”

爾勿為己圖維大事、蓋我耶和華必降災於億兆、惟爾隨在可往、得救生命、我使之然。

爾猶為己圖維大事乎、爾勿圖維、蓋我必降災於凡有血氣者、惟爾無論何往、我仍使爾得保全生命、此乃主所言、

Should you then seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them. For I will bring disaster on all people, declares the Lord, but wherever you go I will let you escape with your life.’”

So should you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them. I will bring trouble on everyone,” announces the Lord.“ But no matter where you go, I will let you escape with your life.” ’ ”

And do you seek great things for yourself? Seek them not, for behold, I am bringing disaster upon all flesh, declares the Lord. But I will give you your life as a prize of war in all places to which you may go.”

Are you seeking great things for yourself? Don’t do it! I will bring great disaster upon all these people; but I will give you your life as a reward wherever you go. I, the Lord, have spoken!’”

But as for you, do you pursue great things for yourself? Stop pursuing! For I am about to bring disaster on all humanity”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ but I will grant you your life like the spoils of war wherever you go.”’”

But as for you, are you seeking great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for behold, I am going to bring disaster on all flesh,’ declares the Lord,‘ but I will give your life to you as plunder in all the places where you may go.’ ”

But as for you, do you seek great things for yourself? Stop seeking! For I am about to bring disaster on every living creature’— this is the Lord’s declaration—‘ but I will grant you your life like the spoils of war wherever you go.’”

Are you looking for great things for yourself? Do not look for such things. For I, the LORD, affirm that I am about to bring disaster on all humanity. But I will allow you to escape with your life wherever you go.”’”

For I will surely save you, and you won’t fall by the sword, but you will escape with your life; because you have put your trust in me,” says Yahweh.’”

He who remains in this city will die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence; but he who goes out and passes over to the Chaldeans who besiege you, he will live, and he will escape with his life.

“ Yahweh says,‘ He who remains in this city will die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence; but he who goes out to the Chaldeans will live, and he will escape with his life, and he will live.’

Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.

Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said,“ I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”

But godliness with contentment is great gain.For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out.But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction.

and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world, which are on the surface of the earth. The king of Sheshach will drink after them.

Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?“ Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin,yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?“ Therefore don’t be anxious, saying,‘ What will we eat?’,‘ What will we drink?’ or,‘ With what will we be clothed?’For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

God saw the earth, and saw that it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

For Yahweh will execute judgment by fire and by his sword on all flesh; and those slain by Yahweh will be many.

He said to him,“ Didn’t my heart go with you, when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and olive groves and vineyards, and sheep and cattle, and male servants and female servants?

Therefore I think that because of the distress that is on us, that it’s good for a man to remain as he is.Are you bound to a wife? Don’t seek to be freed. Are you free from a wife? Don’t seek a wife.But if you marry, you have not sinned. If a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Yet such will have oppression in the flesh, and I want to spare you.But I say this, brothers: the time is short, that from now on, both those who have wives may be as though they had none;and those who weep, as though they didn’t weep; and those who rejoice, as though they didn’t rejoice; and those who buy, as though they didn’t possess;and those who use the world, as not using it to the fullest. For the mode of this world passes away.But I desire to have you to be free from cares. He who is unmarried is concerned for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord;

“ Therefore wait for me”, says Yahweh,“ until the day that I rise up to the prey, for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour on them my indignation, even all my fierce anger, for all the earth will be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
