耶和华对耶利米说：“你要这样对他说：‘耶和华这样说：看哪！我所建立的，我必拆毁；我所栽种的，我必拔除。我必这样对待全地。

如今永恆主這麼說：看吧，我所建立的我必傾覆；我所栽植的我必拔除；拔除全轄地。

耶和華命我告爾曰、耶和華云、我所建者、必毀之、我所植者、必拔之、全地皆然、

惟我耶和華告爾、曰、昔予建造斯邦、加以栽植、後必殲滅、拔其根株、

主命我耶利米告爾巴錄曰、主如是云、我所建造、後我毀之、我所栽植、後我拔之、天下俱如是、

But the Lord has told me to say to you,‘ This is what the Lord says: I will overthrow what I have built and uproot what I have planted, throughout the earth.

But here is what the Lord has told me to say to you, Baruch.‘ The Lord says,“ I will destroy what I have built up. I will pull up by the roots what I have planted. I will do this throughout the earth.

Thus shall you say to him, Thus says the Lord: Behold, what I have built I am breaking down, and what I have planted I am plucking up— that is, the whole land.

“ Baruch, this is what the Lord says:‘ I will destroy this nation that I built. I will uproot what I planted.

“ This is what you are to say to him:‘ This is what the LORD says:“ What I have built I am about to demolish, and what I have planted I am about to uproot— the whole land!

This is what you are to say to him:‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Behold, what I have built I am going to tear down, and what I have planted I am going to uproot, that is, all the people of the land.”

“ Thus you shall say to him,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ Behold, what I have built I will break down, and what I have planted I will pluck up, that is, this whole land.

Thus shalt thou say unto him, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up; and this in the whole land.

“ This is what you are to say to him:‘ This is what the Lord says: What I have built I am about to demolish, and what I have planted I am about to uproot— the whole land!

Thus shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith thus; Behold,[ that] which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land.

The LORD told Jeremiah,“ Tell Baruch,‘ The LORD says,“ I am about to tear down what I have built and to uproot what I have planted. I will do this throughout the whole earth.

“ You shall tell him, Yahweh says:‘ Behold, that which I have built, I will break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up; and this in the whole land.

我什么时候宣布要拔出、拆毁、毁灭一邦或一国，如果我论到的那一邦转离他们的恶行，我就必回心转意，不把我原定的灾祸降给他们。同样，我什么时候宣布要建立、栽植一邦或一国，如果他们行我眼中看为恶的事，不听从我的话，我就必回心转意，不把我应许的好处赐给他们。

我先前怎样留意把他们拔出、拆毁、倾覆、毁灭和降灾；将来我也必照样留意把他们建立和栽种起来。”这是耶和华的宣告。

今日我立你在列邦列国之上，为要拔出、拆毁、毁灭、倾覆，又要建立和栽植。”

你从埃及带走一棵葡萄树，你赶出外族人，把这树栽上。你为它预备了地土，它就深深扎根，充满全地。它的荫影遮盖了群山，它的枝条遮盖了高大的香柏树。它的枝条伸展，直到大海；它的幼苗，直到大河。你为什么拆毁它的篱笆，任由所有过路的人采摘呢？从树林中出来的野猪践踏它，田野的走兽把它吃了。万军的神啊！求你回心转意，从天上垂看鉴察，眷顾这葡萄树，眷顾你右手栽种的根，和你为自己培育的儿子。这树已被火烧，被砍下；他们因你脸上的怒容灭亡。

那栽种你的万军之耶和华，已经宣布降灾攻击你，是因以色列家和犹大家自己所行的恶；他们向巴力烧香，惹我发怒。

于是，耶和华后悔造人在地上，心中忧伤。耶和华说：“我要把我创造的人，从地上消灭；无论是人或牲畜，是爬行的动物或是天空的飞鸟，我都要消灭，因为我后悔造了他们。”

他把园子的泥土挖松了，捡去石头，栽种了上好的葡萄树；在园中建造了一座守望楼，又凿了一个榨酒池。他期望结出好葡萄，却结出野葡萄。耶路撒冷的居民和犹大人哪！现在请你们在我与我的葡萄园之间断定是非吧！我为我的葡萄园所作的以外，还有什么要作的呢？我期望它结出好葡萄，它为什么倒结出野葡萄呢？现在我告诉你们，我要怎样处理我的葡萄园：我要把它的篱笆撤去，使它被吞灭；我要把它的围墙拆毁，使它被践踏。我要使它荒废，不再修剪，也不再耕耘，荆棘和蒺藜却要长起来；我也要吩咐云不再降雨在园子上。因为万军之耶和华的葡萄园就是以色列家，他喜悦的树就是犹大人；他期望的是公平，但看到的只是流血的事；他期望的是公义，听到的只是哀叫声。
