When Baruch son of Neriah wrote on a scroll the words Jeremiah the prophet dictated in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, Jeremiah said this to Baruch:

Jeremiah talked to Baruch, the son of Neriah. It was in the fourth year that Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, was king of Judah. It was when Baruch had written down on a scroll the words Jeremiah the prophet told him to write. Jeremiah had said,

The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah, when he wrote these words in a book at the dictation of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah:

The prophet Jeremiah gave a message to Baruch son of Neriah in the fourth year of the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, after Baruch had written down everything Jeremiah had dictated to him. He said,

This is the word that the prophet Jeremiah spoke to Baruch son of Neriah when he wrote these words on a scroll at Jeremiah’s dictation in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah:

在我叔之子哈拿篾、與書名於契之證人、及坐於獄院之諸猶大人目前、付於瑪西雅孫、尼利亞子巴錄、

耶利米召尼利亞子巴錄至、巴錄遂循耶利米口傳、以主諭耶利米諸言、書之於卷、

於是耶利米復取一卷、予尼利亞子繕寫巴錄、巴錄又循耶利米口傳、以猶大王約雅敬所焚前卷之諸言、書於其上、外增多詞、意同前言、

我耶利米以購田之契、予尼利亞子巴錄後、禱主曰、

猶大王約西亞子約雅敬四年、即巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒元年、主有言論猶大民眾之事、諭耶利米、

約雅敬即位時、年二十有五歲、都耶路撒冷、在位十一年、行惡於主其天主前、

猶大王約西亞子約雅敬始即位、耶利米奉主命曰、

尼利亞子巴錄、遵先知耶利米所諭者而行、於主之殿、讀卷中之主言、猶大王約西亞子約雅敬五年九月、耶路撒冷眾民、及自猶大諸邑來至耶路撒冷之眾民、宣告禁食之日於主前、

諸侯伯遣古示曾孫示利米亞孫尼探亞子猶底、詣巴錄所、告之曰、爾所讀使民聽之卷、爾可攜之至、尼利亞子巴錄遂手執卷而至其前、眾謂之曰、爾坐讀卷使我儕聽、巴錄讀之使眾聽、眾聞此諸言、互相驚訝、謂巴錄曰、我必以此諸言諸言或作諸事告王、又問巴錄曰、爾如何由耶利米之口、書此諸言、明以告我、巴錄對曰、斯諸言、耶利米以口述於我、我以筆墨書之於卷、

王命哈米勒子耶拉篾、亞斯列子西萊亞、亞伯叠子示利米亞、執繕寫巴錄及先知耶利米、幸主使之得藏匿、

乃尼利亞子巴錄慫慂爾以害我、欲付我於迦勒底人手、或殺我、或擄我至巴比倫、加利亞子約哈難、與諸軍長、以及民眾、不聽從主命、不居於猶大地、加利亞子約哈難與諸軍長、不聽從主命、以猶大一切遺民、即由所逃之各邦、歸而欲居猶大地者、與侍衛長尼布撒拉但、所託沙番孫亞希甘子基大利之男女、幼孩、與諸公主、及先知耶利米、並尼利亞子巴錄、俱攜往伊及、乃至答比匿、○
