你们祖先的恶行，犹大诸王和后妃的恶行，你们自己和你们妻子的恶行，就是在犹大地和耶路撒冷街市上所做的，你们都忘了吗？

难道你们忘记了你们的祖先、犹大列王及其嫔妃，以及你们自己和妻子在犹大和耶路撒冷街上的恶行吗？

你们列祖的恶行、犹大列王的恶行、他们妻子的恶行、你们自己的恶行和你们妻子的恶行，就是在犹大地和耶路撒冷街上所行的，你们忘记了吗？

難道你們忘記了你們的祖先、猶大列王及其嬪妃，以及你們自己和妻子在猶大和耶路撒冷街上的惡行嗎？

你們列祖的壞行為、猶大列王的壞行為、和他們妻子的壞行為、你們自己的壞行為、和你們妻子的壞行為、就是你們在猶大地、在耶路撒冷街上所行的、你們都忘了麼？

爾祖之惡、及猶大王與后之惡、爾與爾妻之惡、即在猶大地、與耶路撒冷街衢所行者、爾忘之乎、

昔於猶大國、耶路撒冷逵衢爾列祖作惡、猶大王與后亦然、爾與爾妻、更無不然、爾豈忘之乎。

爾列祖之惡事、猶大列王之惡事、其后妃之惡事、爾曹之惡事、及爾妻之惡事、在猶大地、在耶路撒冷街衢所作者、爾豈忘之乎、

Have you forgotten the wickedness committed by your ancestors and by the kings and queens of Judah and the wickedness committed by you and your wives in the land of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the evil things done by your people of long ago? The kings and queens of Judah did those same things. So did you and your wives. They were done in the land of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem.

Have you forgotten the evil of your fathers, the evil of the kings of Judah, the evil of their wives, your own evil, and the evil of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the sins of your ancestors, the sins of the kings and queens of Judah, and the sins you and your wives committed in Judah and Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the evils of your ancestors, the evils of Judah’s kings, the evils of their wives, your own evils, and the evils of your wives that were committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah and the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah, the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the evils of your fathers, the evils of Judah’s kings, the evils of their wives, your own evils, and the evils of your wives that were committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten all the wicked things that have been done in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem by your ancestors, by the kings of Judah and their wives, by you and your wives?

Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

他們在猶大的各城中，在耶路撒冷的街道上所行的，你沒有看見嗎？兒子撿柴，父親生火，婦女摶麵，為天后做餅，又向別的神澆奠祭，惹我發怒。

從前拜毗珥的罪孽，我們還以為是小事嗎？雖然有災疫臨到耶和華的會眾，直到今日我們還沒有洗淨這罪呢。你們今日竟轉離不跟從耶和華嗎？今日你們既然背叛耶和華，明日他必向以色列全體會眾發怒了。如果你們認為所得的地業不潔淨，你們可以過到耶和華的地業，就是耶和華的帳幕居住的地方，在我們中間得地業；只是不可背叛耶和華，也不可背叛我們，在耶和華我們的神的壇以外，為自己築另一座壇。從前謝拉的曾孫亞干，不是在當毀滅的物上犯了不忠的罪，以致神的忿怒臨到以色列全體會眾嗎？因他的罪孽而死的，還不只他一人呢！’”

從我們列祖的日子直到今日，我們罪惡深重，由於我們的罪孽，我們和我們的王，以及祭司，都被交在各地的列王手中：被刀殺、被擄掠、被搶奪，丟臉蒙羞，就像今天的光景一樣。現在，耶和華我們的神恩待我們片時，給我們存留一些逃脫的人，使我們像釘子釘在他的聖所那樣的安穩，讓我們的神光照我們的眼睛，使我們在所受的奴役中稍得復興。雖然我們是奴隸，但在奴役中，我們的神仍然沒有撇棄我們，反而使我們在波斯列王面前得蒙恩惠，使我們復興，建立我們神的殿，重修毀壞的地方，使我們在猶大和耶路撒冷有牆垣。我們的神啊，現在，我們還可以說甚麼呢？只能說：我們又離棄了你的誡命，就是你曾藉著你的僕人眾先知所吩咐的。你說：你們進去要得為業之地是污穢的，充滿了當地民族的污穢，他們可憎的事使這地從這邊到那邊都充滿了他們的不潔。所以，你們不可把你們的女兒嫁給他們的兒子，也不可為你們的兒子娶他們的女兒。你們永遠不可尋求他們的平安和他們的利益；這樣，你們就可以強盛，吃這地的美物，把這地留給你們的子孫作產業，直到永遠。雖然因著我們許多的惡行和重大的罪過，這一切就臨到我們身上，但我們的神啊，你懲罰我們實在輕於我們的罪孽所應得的，還給我們留下這些逃脫的人。我們怎可以再違背你的誡命，與這些行可憎事的民族通婚呢？如果我們這樣行，你豈不向我們發怒，消滅我們，以致沒有一個剩餘，或是逃脫的人嗎？耶和華以色列的神啊，你是公義的！我們現今才可以留下，成為逃脫的人。看哪，我們在你面前是有罪過的，因此沒有人能在你面前站立得住。’”

“你們和你們的列祖，以及你們的君王、領袖，和全國的人民，在猶大的各城和耶路撒冷的街上燒的香，耶和華怎能忘記，他心裡怎能不想起呢？

我們犯了罪，行了不義，作了惡，背叛了你，偏離了你的誡命典章；沒有聽從你的僕人眾先知，他們奉你的名向我們的君王、領袖、列祖和國中所有的人民說話。主啊！你是公義的；我們滿面羞愧，正如今日的光景；我們猶大人、耶路撒冷的居民，和被你趕逐到遠近各地的以色列眾人，都因對你不忠而滿面羞愧。耶和華啊！我們和我們的君王、領袖、列祖，都滿面羞愧，因為我們得罪了你。

那些知道自己的妻子曾向別神燒香的眾人，和一大群站在那裡的婦女，以及住在埃及地巴忒羅的眾民，回答耶利米說：“你奉耶和華的名對我們所說的話，我們不聽從。我們口中說過的一切話，我們一定去作，我們要向天后燒香，澆奠祭，好像我們自己和我們的列祖，以及我們的君王和領袖，在猶大的各城和耶路撒冷的街上所行的一樣。那時我們吃得飽，得享福樂，不見災禍。但是，自從我們停止向天后燒香和澆奠祭以後，我們就樣樣都缺乏，又因刀劍和饑荒滅亡。”那些婦女又說：“我們不錯是向天后燒香和澆奠祭，難道我們的丈夫不知道我們照著天后的形象製餅供奉她，向她澆奠祭嗎？”
