爾列祖之惡事、猶大列王之惡事、其后妃之惡事、爾曹之惡事、及爾妻之惡事、在猶大地、在耶路撒冷街衢所作者、爾豈忘之乎、

Have you forgotten the wickedness committed by your ancestors and by the kings and queens of Judah and the wickedness committed by you and your wives in the land of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the evil things done by your people of long ago? The kings and queens of Judah did those same things. So did you and your wives. They were done in the land of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem.

Have you forgotten the evil of your fathers, the evil of the kings of Judah, the evil of their wives, your own evil, and the evil of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the sins of your ancestors, the sins of the kings and queens of Judah, and the sins you and your wives committed in Judah and Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the evils of your ancestors, the evils of Judah’s kings, the evils of their wives, your own evils, and the evils of your wives that were committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah and the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah, the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

从前拜毗珥的罪恶不够大吗？那一次，瘟疫降到耶和华的会众身上，直到今日我们还没有洗净这罪。你们今日要离弃耶和华吗？今日你们背叛耶和华，明日祂必向以色列全体会众发怒。如果你们认为自己的土地不洁净，可以搬到耶和华的土地跟我们一起居住，这里有耶和华的圣幕。只是不可在耶和华的祭坛以外，自己另筑祭坛，以致背叛耶和华，连累我们。从前谢拉的曾孙亚干私自留下那些耶和华吩咐要毁灭的东西，以致耶和华的烈怒临到以色列全体会众，因他的罪而死的不只他一个人！”

从我们的祖先开始到现在，我们罪恶深重。由于我们的罪恶，我们、我们的君王和祭司都落在外邦君王的手中，被他们杀害、俘虏、抢掠和羞辱，如同今天的光景。但如今我们的上帝耶和华暂且施恩于我们，为我们存留一些余民，使我们安然住在这圣洁之地。你使我们眼睛明亮，在我们受奴役时赐给我们一点生机。虽然我们是奴隶，我们的上帝却没有离弃受奴役的我们，祂在波斯众王面前施恩于我们，使我们复兴、得以重建毁坏的上帝的殿，让我们在犹大和耶路撒冷有护墙。“如今，我们的上帝啊，事已至此，我们还能说什么呢？因为我们背弃了你的诫命，就是你借着你的仆人——众先知给我们的吩咐，‘你们将要占领的那片土地被当地人的污秽玷污，他们的可憎行径使那里充满污秽。所以不要让你们的女儿嫁给他们的儿子，也不要让你们的儿子娶他们的女儿。永不可为他们谋求平安和好处。这样，你们就可强盛，吃那里的美好出产，也可将那地方留给你们的子孙作为永久的产业。’“虽然因为我们的恶行和大罪，这一切事情临到我们，但我们的上帝啊，你给我们的惩罚比我们该受的轻多了，你还施恩给我们留下这些余民。我们岂能再违背你的诫命，与这些行为可憎的人通婚？若我们这样行，你岂不发怒毁灭我们，使我们无一幸免吗？以色列的上帝耶和华啊，你是公义的，所以我们这些余民今天才得以幸存。看啊，我们在你面前身负罪恶，因而无人能在你面前站立得住。”

“你们和你们的祖先、君王、官长及其他所有百姓在犹大各城和耶路撒冷的街上烧香，耶和华岂不记得，岂能遗忘？

我们犯罪作恶，行为邪恶叛逆，偏离你的诫命和典章，没有听从你的仆人——众先知奉你的名向我们的君王、首领、先祖及国中百姓所说的话。主啊，你是公义的，我们今日满面羞愧，我们犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民，以及因对你不忠而被驱散到远近各地的以色列人都满面羞愧。主啊，我们和我们的君王、首领、先祖因得罪了你而满脸羞愧。

许多人知道自己的妻子曾向别的神明烧香。他们和他们的妻子以及住在埃及巴特罗地区的人对耶利米说：“我们不会听从你奉耶和华的名对我们说的话。但我们必照所许的愿向天后烧香奠酒，正如我们和我们的祖先、君王和官长在犹大各城和耶路撒冷街上所做的一样。那时，我们食物充足，生活幸福，无灾无祸。但自从我们停止向天后烧香奠酒后，我们便一无所有，不断有人死于战争和饥荒。”那些烧香的妇女说：“你以为我们的丈夫不知道我们向天后烧香奠酒、照着她的形象做祭饼吗？”
