為甚麼竟用你們的手所製作的、在你們所去寄居的埃及地向別的神燻祭、來惹我發怒，使你們被剪除，在地上列國中成了令人咒詛、令人羞辱的對象呢？

緣以爾手所為、激我震怒、在所往居之埃及地、焚香於他神、致爾見絕、在天下萬國中、成為可詛可辱、

何為於所居埃及之地、造作偶像、焚香奉事他上帝、干我震怒、為我棄絶、為列邦人咒詛、凌侮、皆由自取。

何為崇拜爾手所作之偶像、干犯我怒、何為於所寄居之伊及地、焚香於他神、爾曹如此行、必致滅絕、必在天下萬邦被咒詛、受凌辱、

Why arouse my anger with what your hands have made, burning incense to other gods in Egypt, where you have come to live? You will destroy yourselves and make yourselves a curse and an object of reproach among all the nations on earth.

Why do you want to make me angry with the gods your hands have made? Why do you burn incense to the gods of Egypt, where you now live? You will destroy yourselves. All the nations on earth will use your name as a curse. They will say you are shameful.

Why do you provoke me to anger with the works of your hands, making offerings to other gods in the land of Egypt where you have come to live, so that you may be cut off and become a curse and a taunt among all the nations of the earth?

Why provoke my anger by burning incense to the idols you have made here in Egypt? You will only destroy yourselves and make yourselves an object of cursing and mockery for all the nations of the earth.

You are angering me by the work of your hands. You are burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt where you have gone to stay for a while. As a result, you will be cut off and become an example for cursing and insult among all the nations of earth.

provoking Me to anger with the works of your hands, burning sacrifices to other gods in the land of Egypt where you are entering to reside, so that you may be eliminated and become a curse and a disgrace among all the nations of the earth?

in that you provoke Me to wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt where you have gone to dwell, that you may cut yourselves off and be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

in that ye provoke me unto anger with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye are gone to sojourn; that ye may be cut off, and that ye may be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

You are provoking Me to anger by the work of your hands. You are burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt where you have gone to live for a while. As a result, you will be cut off and become an object of cursing and insult among all the nations of earth.

In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

That is what will result from your making me angry by what you are doing. You are making me angry by sacrificing to other gods here in the land of Egypt where you live. You will be destroyed for doing that! You will become an example used in curses and an object of ridicule among all the nations of the earth.

「萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：『我怎樣將我的怒氣和忿怒傾在耶路撒冷的居民身上，你們進入埃及的時候，我也必照樣將我的忿怒傾在你們身上，以致你們令人辱罵、驚駭、咒詛、羞辱，你們不得再見這地方。』

不可隨從別神事奉敬拜，以你們手所做的惹我發怒；這樣，我就不加害與你們。然而你們沒有聽從我，竟以手所做的惹我發怒，陷害自己。這是耶和華說的。』」

這是因居民所行的惡，去燒香事奉別神，就是他們和你們，並你們列祖所不認識的神，惹我發怒。

你們不能喝主的杯又喝鬼的杯，不能吃主的筵席又吃鬼的筵席。我們可惹主的憤恨嗎？我們比他還有能力嗎？

我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上拔出根來，並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使他在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。

厭棄他的律例和他與他們列祖所立的約，並勸戒他們的話，隨從虛無的神，自己成為虛妄，效法周圍的外邦人，就是耶和華囑咐他們不可效法的；離棄耶和華－他們神的一切誡命，為自己鑄了兩個牛犢的像，立了亞舍拉，敬拜天上的萬象，事奉巴力，又使他們的兒女經火，用占卜，行法術賣了自己，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹動他的怒氣。

我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上剪除，並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使以色列人在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。這殿雖然甚高，將來經過的人必驚訝、嗤笑，說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』

以致他們的地令人驚駭，常常嗤笑；凡經過這地的必驚駭搖頭。

耶路撒冷敗落，猶大傾倒；因為他們的舌頭和行為與耶和華反對，惹了他榮光的眼目。

敬拜別神，觸動神的憤恨，行可憎惡的事，惹了他的怒氣。所祭祀的鬼魔並非真神，乃是素不認識的神，是近來新興的，是你列祖所不畏懼的。

我就必使這殿如示羅，使這城為地上萬國所咒詛的。』」

我必使他們交出來，在天下萬國中拋來拋去，遭遇災禍；在我趕逐他們到的各處成為凌辱、笑談、譏刺、咒詛。

你們必留下自己的名，為我選民指着賭咒。主耶和華必殺你們，另起別名稱呼他的僕人。

我必用刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫追趕他們，使他們在天下萬國拋來拋去，在我所趕他們到的各國中，令人咒詛、驚駭、嗤笑、羞辱。

凡過路的都向你拍掌。他們向耶路撒冷城嗤笑，搖頭，說：難道人所稱為全美的，稱為全地所喜悅的，就是這城嗎？你的仇敵都向你大大張口；他們嗤笑，又切齒說：我們吞滅她。這真是我們所盼望的日子臨到了！我們親眼看見了！

你們要將所犯的一切罪過盡行拋棄，自做一個新心和新靈。以色列家啊，你們何必死亡呢？主耶和華說：我不喜悅那死人之死，所以你們當回頭而存活。」

那時，聽見他話惹他發怒的是誰呢？豈不是跟着摩西從埃及出來的眾人嗎？

現在耶和華－萬軍之神、以色列的神如此說：你們為何作這大惡自害己命，使你們的男人、婦女、嬰孩，和吃奶的都從猶大中剪除、不留一人呢？

那定意進入埃及地、在那裏寄居的，就是所剩下的猶大人，我必使他們盡都滅絕，必在埃及地仆倒，必因刀劍饑荒滅絕；從最小的到至大的都必遭刀劍饑荒而死，以致令人辱罵、驚駭、咒詛、羞辱。
