And this[ shall be] a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:

“‘我要在这地方惩罚你们，这是给你们的征兆，好使你们知道我说要降祸给你们的话，一定实现。’这是耶和华的宣告。

永恆主發神諭說；我在這地方要察罰你們、必有以下這事給你們做兆頭，使你們知道我降禍與你們、的話一定立得住。

耶和華曰、我必罰爾於斯土、有兆可徵、使爾知我所言降禍於爾、其言必應、

耶和華又曰、我必罰爾、使爾知我言必有效驗、有兆堪徵。

主曰、我在伊及伊及原文作斯處將罰爾、有兆可證、使爾知我言降災於爾、必有效驗、

“‘ This will be the sign to you that I will punish you in this place,’ declares the Lord,‘ so that you will know that my threats of harm against you will surely stand.’

“‘ I will give you a sign that I will punish you in this place,’ announces the Lord.‘ Then you can be sure that my warnings of harm against you will come true.’

This shall be the sign to you, declares the Lord, that I will punish you in this place, in order that you may know that my words will surely stand against you for harm:

“‘ And this is the proof I give you,’ says the Lord,‘ that all I have threatened will happen to you and that I will punish you here.’

This will be a sign to you’— this is the LORD’s declaration—‘ that I will punish you in this place, so you may know that my words of disaster concerning you will certainly come to pass.

And this will be the sign to you,’ declares the Lord,‘ that I am going to punish you in this place, so that you may know that My words will assuredly stand against you for harm.’

And this shall be a sign to you,’ says the Lord,‘ that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that My words will surely stand against you for adversity.’

And this shall be the sign unto you, saith Jehovah, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:

This will be a sign to you’— this is the Lord’s declaration—‘ that I am about to punish you in this place, so you may know that My words of disaster concerning you will certainly come to pass.

Moreover the LORD says,‘ I will make something happen to prove that I will punish you in this place. I will do it so that you will know that my threats to bring disaster on you will prove true.

“‘ This will be the sign to you,’ says Yahweh,‘ that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that my words will surely stand against you for evil.’

[ There are] many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place,( whoso readeth, let him understand:)Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.

And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not,( let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter[ therein], to take any thing out of his house:And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer[ is] nigh:So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near,[ even] at the doors.Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

And this[ shall be] a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.
