我们定要照我们口中所说的一切话去做，向天后烧香，献浇酒祭，按着我们与我们祖先、君王、官长在犹大城镇和耶路撒冷街市上素常所做的一样；因为那时我们得以吃饱、享福乐，并未遇见灾祸。

我所欲者我必為之、昔我列祖、王公、在猶大諸邑、耶路撒冷逵衢焚香灌奠、奉事天后、當時咸得果腹、所遇亨通、不遘患難、

必循我口所出之言而為、必焚香灌奠、奉事天后、循我平日所為、循昔我列祖與王公、在猶大諸邑、在耶路撒冷街衢所為、當時我得飽食享福、不遇患難、

We will certainly do everything we said we would: We will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven and will pour out drink offerings to her just as we and our ancestors, our kings and our officials did in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. At that time we had plenty of food and were well off and suffered no harm.

We will certainly do everything we said we would. We’ll burn incense to the female god called the Queen of Heaven. We’ll pour out drink offerings to her. We’ll do just as we and our people of long ago have done. Our kings and our officials also did it. All of us did it in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem. At that time we had plenty of food. We were well off. We didn’t suffer any harm.

But we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, as we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and prospered, and saw no disaster.

We will do whatever we want. We will burn incense and pour out liquid offerings to the Queen of Heaven just as much as we like— just as we, and our ancestors, and our kings and officials have always done in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For in those days we had plenty to eat, and we were well off and had no troubles!

Instead, we will do everything we promised: we will burn incense to the queen of heaven and offer drink offerings to her just as we, our ancestors, our kings, and our officials did in Judah’s cities and in Jerusalem’s streets. Then we had enough food, we were well off, and we saw no disaster,

But we will certainly carry out every word that has proceeded from our mouths, by burning sacrifices to the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, just as we ourselves, our forefathers, our kings, and our leaders did in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; for then we had plenty of food and were well off and saw no misfortune.

But we will certainly do whatever has gone out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. 孩子捡柴，父亲烧火，妇女揉面做饼，献给天后，又向别神献浇酒祭，惹我发怒。

我们的君王、官长、祭司、祖先都不遵守你的律法，不听从你的诫命和你警戒他们的话。

你嘴唇所说的，你亲口承诺的，要照你甘心向耶和华—你上帝许的愿谨守遵行。

他们的母亲行了淫乱，怀他们的做了可羞耻的事；因为她说：“我要跟随我所爱的，我的饼、水、羊毛、麻、油、酒，都是他们给的。”因此，看哪，我要用荆棘堵塞她的道，筑墙挡住她，使她找不着路；以致她追随所爱的人，却追不上，寻找他们，却寻不着，就说：“我要回到前夫那里去，因我那时比现在还好。”她不知道是我给她五谷、新酒和新的油，又加添她的金银；他们却用来供奉巴力。因此，我要在收割的日子收回我的五谷，在当令的季节收回我的新酒，我要夺回她用以遮体的羊毛和麻。

以色列人对他们说：“我们宁愿在埃及地死在耶和华手中！那时我们坐在肉锅旁，吃饼得饱。你们却将我们领出来，到这旷野，要叫这全会众都饿死啊！”

万军之耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：你们和你们的妻子口中说过、手里做到，说：‘我们定要向天后还愿，向它烧香，献浇酒祭。’现在你们尽管坚定所许的愿，去还愿吧！

她丈夫听见的日子，若把这些全废了，她口中一切所许的愿或约束自己的话就不算为有效。她丈夫已把这些都废了，耶和华也必赦免她。

他们离弃耶和华—他们上帝的一切诫命，为自己铸造了两个牛犊的像，立了亚舍拉，敬拜天上的万象，事奉巴力，

他女儿对他说：“我的父亲啊，你既向耶和华开了口，就当照你口中所说的向我行，因为耶和华已经在你的仇敌亚扪人身上为你报了仇。”

“你们与你们祖先、君王、官长，以及这地的百姓，在犹大城镇和耶路撒冷街市上所烧的香，耶和华岂不记得，放在他心上吗？

耶路撒冷的房屋和犹大君王的宫殿，就是他们在其上向天上的万象烧香、向别神献浇酒祭的宫殿房屋，都必被玷污，和陀斐特一样。’”

他们的结局就是灭亡。他们的神明是自己的肚腹；他们以自己的羞辱为光荣，专以地上的事为念。

他们却悖逆我，不肯听从我，不抛弃他们眼中所喜爱的可憎之物，离弃埃及的偶像。“我就说，在埃及地，我要把我的愤怒倾倒在他们身上，向他们发尽我的怒气。

所以，我自古就给你说明，在事未成以先指示你，免得你说：‘这些事是我的偶像所行的，是我雕刻的偶像和铸造的神像所命定的。’

王就很忧愁，然而因他所发的誓，又因同席的人，不愿食言，

人若向耶和华许愿或起誓，要约束自己，就不可食言，必须照口中所出的一切话去做。

他们说：“我们必能以舌头取胜，我们的嘴唇是自己的，谁能作我们的主呢？”

我们与我们的祖宗一同犯罪，偏邪行恶。

因为他们离弃我，向别神烧香，用他们手所做的一切惹我发怒，所以我的愤怒必向这地方发作，总不止息。’

你们祖先的恶行，犹大诸王和后妃的恶行，你们自己和你们妻子的恶行，就是在犹大地和耶路撒冷街市上所做的，你们都忘了吗？

攻城的迦勒底人必来放火焚烧这城和城里的房屋；人曾在这房顶上向巴力烧香，向别神献浇酒祭，惹我发怒。以色列人和犹大人从年轻时，就专做我眼中看为恶的事。以色列人尽以手所做的惹我发怒。这是耶和华说的。这城自从建造的那日直到今日，常惹我的怒气和愤怒，以致我将这城从我面前除掉；这是因以色列人和犹大人一切的邪恶，就是他们和他们的君王、官长、祭司、先知，并犹大人，以及耶路撒冷居民所做的，惹我发怒。

你们知道，你们得以从你们祖先传下来虚妄的行为中救赎出来，不是靠着会朽坏的金银等物，

我们犯罪作恶，行恶叛逆，偏离你的诫命典章，没有听从你仆人众先知奉你的名向我们君王、官长、祖先和这地所有百姓所说的话。主啊，你是公义的，但我们犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民，并你所赶到各国的以色列众人，不论远近，因为背叛了你，脸上蒙羞，正如今日一样。耶和华啊，我们和我们的君王、官长、祖先因得罪了你，脸上就都蒙羞。
