Isaiah 19:1-25
The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city,[ and] kingdom against kingdom. And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts. And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.And they shall turn the rivers far away;[ and] the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither. The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no[ more].The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish. Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded. And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices[ and] ponds for fish.Surely the princes of Zoan[ are] fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I[ am] the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?Where[ are] they? where[ are] thy wise[ men]? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt. The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt,[ even they that are] the stay of the tribes thereof. The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken[ man] staggereth in his vomit.Neither shall there be[ any] work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction. In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them. And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform[ it].And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal[ it]: and they shall return[ even] to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria,[ even] a blessing in the midst of the land:Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed[ be] Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

Jeremiah 46:1-26
The word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Gentiles;Against Egypt, against the army of Pharaohnecho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah.Order ye the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle.Harness the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand forth with[ your] helmets; furbish the spears,[ and] put on the brigandines.Wherefore have I seen them dismayed[ and] turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back:[ for] fear[ was] round about, saith the LORD.Let not the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the river Euphrates.Who[ is] this[ that] cometh up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers?Egypt riseth up like a flood, and[ his] waters are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up,[ and] will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof.Come up, ye horses; and rage, ye chariots; and let the mighty men come forth; the Ethiopians and the Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle[ and] bend the bow.For this[ is] the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines;[ for] thou shalt not be cured. The nations have heard of thy shame, and thy cry hath filled the land: for the mighty man hath stumbled against the mighty,[ and] they are fallen both together. The word that the LORD spake to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come[ and] smite the land of Egypt.Declare ye in Egypt, and publish in Migdol, and publish in Noph and in Tahpanhes: say ye, Stand fast, and prepare thee; for the sword shall devour round about thee. Why are thy valiant[ men] swept away? they stood not, because the LORD did drive them.He made many to fall, yea, one fell upon another: and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of our nativity, from the oppressing sword. They did cry there, Pharaoh king of Egypt[ is but] a noise; he hath passed the time appointed.[ As] I live, saith the King, whose name[ is] the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor[ is] among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea,[ so] shall he come.O thou daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish thyself to go into captivity: for Noph shall be waste and desolate without an inhabitant.Egypt[ is like] a very fair heifer,[ but] destruction cometh; it cometh out of the north. Also her hired men[ are] in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back,[ and] are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them,[ and] the time of their visitation. The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood. They shall cut down her forest, saith the LORD, though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and[ are] innumerable. The daughter of Egypt shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the hand of the people of the north. The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and[ all] them that trust in him:And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD.

Ezekiel 30:1-26
The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!For the day[ is] near, even the day of the LORD[ is] near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen. And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword. Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries[ that are] desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities[ that are] wasted. And they shall know that I[ am] the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and[ when] all her helpers shall be destroyed. In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon. He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain. And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken[ it].Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause[ their] images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt. And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph[ shall have] distresses daily. The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these[ cities] shall go into captivity. At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity. Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I[ am] the LORD.And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first[ month], in the seventh[ day] of the month,[ that] the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I[ am] against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand. And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh’s arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded[ man].But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I[ am] the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt. And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I[ am] the LORD.
