and say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and I will set his throne above these stones that I have hidden, and he will spread his royal canopy over them.

告之曰、萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、我必遣我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒至此、置其寶座在藏石之所、張其寶幄在其上、

Then say to them,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will send for my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and I will set his throne over these stones I have buried here; he will spread his royal canopy above them.

Then tell the Jews,‘ The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ I will send for my servant Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon. And I will set his throne over these stones that are buried here. He will set up his royal tent over them.

Then say to the people of Judah,‘ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: I will certainly bring my servant Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, here to Egypt. I will set his throne over these stones that I have hidden. He will spread his royal canopy over them.

and tell them,‘ This is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: I will send for my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and I will place his throne on these stones that I have embedded, and he will pitch his pavilion over them.

and say to them,‘ This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ Behold, I am going to send men and get My servant Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and I am going to set his throne over these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his canopy over them.

and say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ Behold, I will send and bring Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will set his throne above these stones that I have hidden. And he will spread his royal pavilion over them.

and say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.

and tell them: This is what the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: I will send for My servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and I will place his throne on these stones that I have embedded, and he will pitch his pavilion over them.

And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.

Then tell them,‘ The LORD God of Israel who rules over all says,“ I will bring my servant King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. I will set his throne over these stones which I have buried. He will pitch his royal tent over them.

and tell them, Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says:‘ Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne on these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his royal pavilion over them.

For behold, I am calling all the tribes of the kingdoms of the north, declares the Lord, and they shall come, and every one shall set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, against all its walls all around and against all the cities of Judah.

For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.

He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him, thick clouds dark with water.

In the cover of your presence you hide them from the plots of men; you store them in your shelter from the strife of tongues.

who says of Cyrus,‘ He is my shepherd, and he shall fulfill all my purpose’; saying of Jerusalem,‘ She shall be built,’ and of the temple,‘ Your foundation shall be laid.’”Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed:

When Ben-hadad heard this message as he was drinking with the kings in the booths, he said to his men,“ Take your positions.” And they took their positions against the city.

The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

O king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father kingship and greatness and glory and majesty.And because of the greatness that he gave him, all peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him. Whom he would, he killed, and whom he would, he kept alive; whom he would, he raised up, and whom he would, he humbled.

And they went out at noon, while Ben-hadad was drinking himself drunk in the booths, he and the thirty-two kings who helped him.

Do not go after other gods to serve and worship them, or provoke me to anger with the work of your hands. Then I will do you no harm.’Yet you have not listened to me, declares the Lord, that you might provoke me to anger with the work of your hands to your own harm.“ Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: Because you have not obeyed my words,behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the Lord, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, and make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.Moreover, I will banish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the grinding of the millstones and the light of the lamp.This whole land shall become a ruin and a waste, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.Then after seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the Lord, making the land an everlasting waste.I will bring upon that land all the words that I have uttered against it, everything written in this book, which Jeremiah prophesied against all the nations.For many nations and great kings shall make slaves even of them, and I will recompense them according to their deeds and the work of their hands.”Thus the Lord, the God of Israel, said to me:“ Take from my hand this cup of the wine of wrath, and make all the nations to whom I send you drink it.They shall drink and stagger and be crazed because of the sword that I am sending among them.”So I took the cup from the Lord’s hand, and made all the nations to whom the Lord sent me drink it:Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, its kings and officials, to make them a desolation and a waste, a hissing and a curse, as at this day;Pharaoh king of Egypt, his servants, his officials, all his people,and all the mixed tribes among them; all the kings of the land of Uz and all the kings of the land of the Philistines( Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);Edom, Moab, and the sons of Ammon;all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the coastland across the sea;Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all who cut the corners of their hair;all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the mixed tribes who dwell in the desert;all the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of Media;all the kings of the north, far and near, one after another, and all the kingdoms of the world that are on the face of the earth. And after them the king of Babylon shall drink.

Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, my servant, and I have given him also the beasts of the field to serve him.All the nations shall serve him and his son and his grandson, until the time of his own land comes. Then many nations and great kings shall make him their slave.“‘“ But if any nation or kingdom will not serve this Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation with the sword, with famine, and with pestilence, declares the Lord, until I have consumed it by his hand.

“ Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made his army labor hard against Tyre. Every head was made bald, and every shoulder was rubbed bare, yet neither he nor his army got anything from Tyre to pay for the labor that he had performed against her.Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and he shall carry off its wealth and despoil it and plunder it; and it shall be the wages for his army.I have given him the land of Egypt as his payment for which he labored, because they worked for me, declares the Lord God.

He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;

“ But fear not, O Jacob my servant, nor be dismayed, O Israel, for behold, I will save you from far away, and your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob shall return and have quiet and ease, and none shall make him afraid.Fear not, O Jacob my servant, declares the Lord, for I am with you. I will make a full end of all the nations to which I have driven you, but of you I will not make a full end. I will discipline you in just measure, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.”
