今我請爾、諮諏我之上帝耶和華、彼所命者、無論其得我心與否、我必聽從、望得亨通。

今我求爾禱於主我之天主、主所命者、無論我悅與不悅、我必聽從、我聽從主我天主之命、庶幾可以獲福、獲福或作亨通

Whether it is favorable or unfavorable, we will obey the Lord our God, to whom we are sending you, so that it will go well with us, for we will obey the Lord our God.”

It doesn’t matter whether what you say is in our favor or not. We’re asking you to pray to the Lord our God. And we’ll obey him. Things will go well with us. That’s because we will obey the Lord our God.”

我只吩咐他們這一件事說：『你們當聽從我的話，我就作你們的上帝，你們也作我的子民。你們行走我所吩咐的一切道路，就可以得福。』

惟願他們存這樣的心敬畏我，常遵守我一切的誡命，使他們和他們的子孫永遠得福。

你們要走耶和華－你們的上帝所吩咐的一切道路，使你們可以存活得福，並使你們的日子在所要承受的地上得以長久。」

這樣，我們要怎麼說呢？律法是罪嗎？絕對不是！但是，若不是藉着律法，我就不知何為罪；若不是律法說「不可貪心」，我就不知何為貪心。

然後，他拿起約書來，念給百姓聽。他們說：「耶和華所吩咐的一切，我們都必遵行，也必聽從。」

好叫你和你的子孫在一生的日子都敬畏耶和華－你的上帝，謹守他的一切律例、誡命，就是我所吩咐你的，使你的日子得以長久。以色列啊，你要聽，要謹守遵行，使你可以在那流奶與蜜之地得福，人數極其增多，正如耶和華－你列祖的上帝所應許你的。

你要吃勞碌得來的；你要享福，凡事順利。

那麼，那善的是叫我死嗎？絕對不是！叫我死的是罪。罪藉着那善的叫我死，為要顯出這真是罪，以致罪藉着誡命更顯出是惡極了。

我的子民若肯聽從我，以色列肯行我的道，我就速速制伏他們的仇敵，反手攻擊他們的敵人。恨耶和華的人必來投降，願他們的厄運直到永遠。他必拿上好的麥子給以色列吃，又拿磐石出的蜂蜜使你飽足。」

因為體貼肉體就是與上帝為敵，對上帝的律法不順服，事實上也無法順服。

百姓對約書亞說：「我們必事奉耶和華－我們的上帝，聽從他的話。」

你們要對義人說，他是有福的，因為他必吃自己行為所結的果實。
