今我請爾、諮諏我之上帝耶和華、彼所命者、無論其得我心與否、我必聽從、望得亨通。

今我求爾禱於主我之天主、主所命者、無論我悅與不悅、我必聽從、我聽從主我天主之命、庶幾可以獲福、獲福或作亨通

那麼，我們要怎麼說呢？難道律法是罪嗎？絕對不是！然而，要不是藉著律法，我就不知道什麼是罪。如果律法沒有說「不可貪心」，我就不知道什麼是貪心；

你必然吃到你手辛苦得來的，你必蒙福，事事順利！

那麼，是那美善的導致了我的死嗎？絕對不是！而是罪。罪為要顯出是罪，就藉著那美善的帶來了我的死，使罪藉著誡命變得極其邪惡。

但願我的子民肯聽從我，以色列肯走我的道路，我就片刻間制伏他們的仇敵，轉手對付他們的敵人。」恨耶和華的人將向他卑躬屈膝，願他們受罰的日子直到永遠。但他必給以色列吃最好的麥子，並說：「我要用磐石所出的蜂蜜使你飽足。」

原來屬肉體的思想是敵對神的，因為它不服從神的律法，其實也不能服從；

你們要告訴義人，他們會一切平順，因為他們必吃自己行為所結的果實。
