‘你們若決意住在這地，我就建立你們，必不拆毀；栽植你們，必不拔除；因我為那已經降在你們身上的災禍回心轉意。

‘如果你们留在这地方，我必扶持你们，决不毁灭你们；我必栽培你们，决不铲除你们。因为我为降在你们身上的灾祸而难过。

你們若死心塌地地住在這地，我就建立你們，必不傾覆；栽植你們，必不拔除；因為對降禍與你們、我改變了心意了。

如爾仍居斯土、我必建爾而不毀之、植爾而不拔之、昔我降災於爾、今回厥意焉、

昔我降災、今不復行、如爾仍居於斯土、我必建造爾、栽植爾、不毀爾邦國、不拔爾根株。

如爾仍居於斯地、我必建造爾、不復拆毀、栽植爾、不復拔除、我降災於爾、我已悔之、

‘ If you stay in this land, I will build you up and not tear you down; I will plant you and not uproot you, for I have relented concerning the disaster I have inflicted on you.

‘ Stay in this land. Then I will build you up. I will not tear you down. I will plant you. I will not pull you up by the roots. I have decided to stop bringing trouble on you.

If you will remain in this land, then I will build you up and not pull you down; I will plant you, and not pluck you up; for I relent of the disaster that I did to you.

‘ Stay here in this land. If you do, I will build you up and not tear you down; I will plant you and not uproot you. For I am sorry about all the punishment I have had to bring upon you.

‘ If you will indeed stay in this land, then I will rebuild and not demolish you, and I will plant and not uproot you, because I relent concerning the disaster that I have brought on you.

‘ If you will indeed stay in this land, then I will build you up and not tear you down, and I will plant you and not uproot you; for I will relent of the disaster that I have inflicted on you.

‘ If you will still remain in this land, then I will build you and not pull you down, and I will plant you and not pluck you up. For I relent concerning the disaster that I have brought upon you.

If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up; for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you.

‘ If you will just stay in this land, I will build you up. I will not tear you down. I will firmly plant you. I will not uproot you. For I am filled with sorrow because of the disaster that I have brought on you.

‘ If you will still live in this land, then I will build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up; for I grieve over the distress that I have brought on you.

那時，在你們四圍所餘剩的列國，就必知道我是耶和華，是我重建了那些毀壞的地方，栽植了那些荒涼之地。我耶和華說了，就必實行。

我先前怎樣留意把他們拔出、拆毀、傾覆、毀滅和降災；將來我也必照樣留意把他們建立和栽種起來。”這是耶和華的宣告。

我必關注他們，眷顧他們，領他們歸回這地。我必建立他們，必不拆毀；我必栽植他們，必不拔除。

耶和華要為自己的子民伸冤，為自己的僕人難過，因為耶和華看見他們的能力已經消逝，為奴的或自由的都沒有剩下一人。

我必使猶大被擄的和以色列被擄的都歸回，並且建立他們像起初一樣。

耶和華對這事改變心意。主耶和華說：“這事也不會發生。”

神看見他們所作的，就是悔改離開惡行，神就轉意，不把所說的災禍降在他們身上了。

就向耶和華禱告，說：“耶和華啊！我還在本國的時候，不是這樣說過嗎？我知道你是有恩典有憐憫的神，不輕易發怒，並且有豐盛的慈愛，轉意不降災禍，所以我才急忙逃往他施去。

耶和華對這事改變心意，耶和華說：“這事不會發生。”

“以法蓮啊，我怎能捨棄你！以色列啊，我怎能把你交出來！我怎能對你如同押瑪，待你好像洗扁呢！我的心腸翻轉，我的憐憫發動。

你們要撕裂你們的心腸，不要撕裂你們的衣服。並要歸向耶和華你們的神，因為他有恩典有憐憫，不輕易發怒，並且有豐盛的慈愛，隨時轉意不降災禍。

因為神要拯救錫安，要建造猶大的眾城；他的子民必在那裡居住，並且擁有那地為業。

你要倚靠耶和華，並要行善；你要住在地上，以信實為糧食。

當天使向耶路撒冷伸手，要毀滅耶路撒冷的時候，耶和華就後悔降這災禍，就對那毀滅眾民的天使說：“夠了，現在住手吧！”那時，耶和華的天使在耶布斯人亞勞拿的打禾場那裡。

於是，耶和華改變初衷，不把他所說的禍降在他的人民身上。

猶大王希西家和猶大眾人可曾把他處死呢？希西家不是敬畏耶和華，求他開恩，以致耶和華回心轉意，沒有把他所說的災禍降在他們身上嗎？但我們現在竟自招大禍。”

我甚麼時候宣布要拔出、拆毀、毀滅一邦或一國，如果我論到的那一邦轉離他們的惡行，我就必回心轉意，不把我原定的災禍降給他們。同樣，我甚麼時候宣布要建立、栽植一邦或一國，如果他們行我眼中看為惡的事，不聽從我的話，我就必回心轉意，不把我應許的好處賜給他們。

因為耶和華必建造錫安，在他自己的榮耀裡顯現。

‘此後我要回來，重建大衛倒塌了的帳幕，重建它損壞之處，把它重新豎立起來，

他為他們的緣故記念他自己的約，照著他豐盛的慈愛回心轉意。

耶和華為他們興起士師的時候，耶和華就與那士師同在；那士師在世的日子，耶和華總是拯救他們脫離仇敵的手；因為他們在壓迫和苦害他們的人底下發出哀聲，耶和華就憐憫他們。

耶和華向以撒顯現，說：“你不要下到埃及去，要住在我所指示你的地方。你要寄居在這地，我必與你同在，必賜福給你，因為我要把這全地都賜給你和你的後裔，履行我向你父親亞伯拉罕所起的誓。
