猶大遺民、執意往居伊及者、我必除之、使之滅沒殞亡於伊及地、必遭鋒刃饑饉而滅、自小至大、悉死於鋒刃饑饉、受咒詛、令人驚駭、被詈罵、受羞辱、

耶利米遂召加利亞子約哈難、與所率之諸軍長、以及大小人民、

於是尼探雅子以實瑪利、加利亞二子約哈難、約拿單、單戶篾子西萊亞、尼陀法人以斐諸子、瑪迦人之子耶撒尼亞、率其兵卒、至米斯巴見基大利、

老少無不聽信之、曰、此人乃天主之大能也、

主曰、我必使其妻室歸他人、使其田畝歸他人為業、緣彼自小至大、俱貪不義之財、先知及祭司俱行詭詐、

約雅斤被擄後第七年、五月十日、以色列長老數人來、求問於主、坐於我前、主有言諭我曰、人子、當言與以色列長老、告之曰、主天主如是云、爾來求問於我乎、主天主曰、我指己永生而誓、我必不應爾、

我自謂彼貧貧或作賤者流、彼愚昧因不識主之道、不明其天主之法、不如我就貴顯人與之語、以為彼必知主之道、明其天主之法、豈知彼亦折軛斷繩、不受約束、

神舉我上升、攜我至主殿之前門、即向東之門、見門外有二十五人、中有押疏子雅撒尼亞、及比拿雅子毘拉提亞、皆民之牧伯、

人子、斯人心念其偶像、以陷己於罪之物、置於目前、彼又求問我、我豈應之乎、故爾當告之曰、主天主如是云、凡以色列族之人、心念其偶像、以陷已於罪之物、置於目前、如來就先知、我耶和華必因其拜多偶像之罪譴責之、必因其拜多偶像之罪譴責之原文作必循其眾多之偶像而應之
