But ten of them said to Ishmael,“ Don’t kill us! We have wheat and barley, olive oil and honey, hidden in a field.” So he let them alone and did not kill them with the others.

But ten of the men had spoken to Ishmael. They had said,“ Don’t kill us! We have some wheat and barley. We also have olive oil and honey. We’ve hidden all of it in a field.” So he didn’t kill them along with the others.

But there were ten men among them who said to Ishmael,“ Do not put us to death, for we have stores of wheat, barley, oil, and honey hidden in the fields.” So he refrained and did not put them to death with their companions.

The other ten had talked Ishmael into letting them go by promising to bring him their stores of wheat, barley, olive oil, and honey that they had hidden away.

However, there were ten men among them who said to Ishmael,“ Don’t kill us, for we have hidden treasure in the field— wheat, barley, oil, and honey!” So he stopped and did not kill them along with their companions.

But ten men who were found among them said to Ishmael,“ Do not put us to death, for we have supplies of wheat, barley, oil, and honey hidden in the field.” So he refrained and did not put them to death along with their companions.

But ten men were found among them who said to Ishmael,“ Do not kill us, for we have treasures of wheat, barley, oil, and honey in the field.” So he desisted and did not kill them among their brethren.

But ten men were found among them that said unto Ishmael, Slay us not; for we have stores hidden in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he forbare, and slew them not among their brethren.

However, there were 10 men among them who said to Ishmael,“ Don’t kill us, for we have hidden treasure in the field— wheat, barley, oil, and honey!” So he stopped and did not kill them along with their companions.

But ten men were found among those who said to Ishmael,“ Don’t kill us; for we have stores hidden in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey.” So he stopped, and didn’t kill them among their brothers.

撒旦回答说：“人会以皮换皮，为了保全生命，情愿舍弃一切。

富人用财富赎命，穷人却免受惊吓。

人就是赚得全世界，却丧失自己的生命，又有什么益处呢？他还能用什么换回生命呢？

他们倚靠金钱、夸耀财富，却不能救赎自己的生命，也无法向上帝付生命的赎价。因为生命的赎价高昂，无人付得起，

我要把隐藏的宝物和秘密收藏的财富赐给你，好叫你知道点名呼召你的是我——以色列的上帝耶和华。

人若赚得全世界，却丧失自己的生命，又有什么益处呢？人还能拿什么换回自己的生命呢？

“所以我告诉你们，不要为生活忧虑，如吃什么、喝什么，也不要为身体忧虑，如穿什么。难道生命不比饮食重要吗？身体不比穿着重要吗？

但是为了基督，我从前以为有价值的，现在认为毫无价值。不但如此，我看万事都毫无价值，因为认识我主基督耶稣最宝贵。我为祂失去了一切，我把失去的一切视为垃圾，好得到基督，与祂联合。我成为义人不是因为遵行律法，而是因为信靠基督。这义从上帝而来，以信为基础。
